The setup for Ma Liling's return is that she would be coming back to the country from abroad. So to make sure that this goes well, Ma Mian went out of the country for a while and then went back in as Ma Liling.

However, they need not bother with this as right at this moment, Ma Mian and Yu Bai are actually outside of the country.

The two of them went to Country HK, for a short vacation and then would return soon. However, Ma Mian received a call from the company and has to return.

Yu Bai was a bit distressed because he was hoping that the two of them could come back together. But it seems that they could not and this made him wanted to tell her to not return.

His eyes are glistening with tears as he looks at her leaving the hotel room they are in. Ma Mian could not help but give him a peck on his lips as she left him with a smile on her face.

While on the taxi she could not help but think of the time the two of them spend together touring the large city. She truly likes being with her husband, and the way he cares for her. She gets off at a five-star hotel wearing a big hat and large glasses with a big shawl covering half of her face.

When the women on the desk saw her ID they immediately showed glistening eyes. Though they could not see her clearly, still they are happy to have an autograph from her.

Ma Mian changes into Ma Liling inside the hotel and soon left back to City A.

On the flight, many people would look at her and many of the men around her would give her glances. One could not help but look at her angelic aura even though she is wearing a cap and large glasses. Although this is the case, Ma Liling is still polite to those who wanted to take pictures with her and she would sign an autograph whenever someone wanted one.

The flight was not that long and the plane soon arrives in City A.

Upon arriving at the airport, she immediately went inside the bathroom and changed her attire into a long over dark brown overcoat. Wearing comfortable high-heeled rubber shoes, she looks relaxed as she walks out of the ladies' room.

However, as soon as her figure walks out into the receiving area of the airport, she could not help but stop in her tracks.

This is because; in front of her is a large crowd. She could see many of her fans that could not wait to see her again, media personnel, paparazzi, and security personnel from her company. The airport is almost swamped with people, and this she did not expect to happen.

The plan was to be low-key and that, a few journalists would just appear. But who would have known that this would happen?

Who would have expected that a large crowd would gather even though this was not announced publicly?

"Ma Liling! It's Ma Liling!" suddenly someone shouted and this immediately made the crowd go wild.

Ma Liling is aware that there might be troublesome matters that might happen at this point in time, so she immediately signaled her manager who was standing on the side. Manager Lan has been waiting for Ma Liling and she too saw her.

When she saw the signal she knew what her concern is immediate.

"Everyone… everyone, please… We don't want any accident to happen, so please be calm…" she said in the loudspeaker.

Ma Liling waved her hand to all of her fans and she allowed them to take pictures as she slowly walks out of the airport.

Everyone was ecstatic that they saw their idol and has also let their idol take her pictures.

Everything was in order and the situation was in control. However, who would have known that something would happen right at this moment.

From within the crowd, a female fan covered in a hood suddenly rushes out of the standing guards and suddenly runs towards Ma Liling. The woman is holding something in her hands hidden inside her jacket.

"Stop! Stop her!" shouted one of the guards.

Everyone inside the airport was stunned at this scene. The fans were all shocked and all of them could just look at the fast-approaching woman.

When the woman was a few feet away from Ma Liling, one of the guards was able to grab her jacket.

Upon doing this, the hood covering her head was suddenly removed, and a beautiful face was revealed. However, that beautiful face showed viciousness in them.

Everyone is familiar with that face for a while now as she has been shown all over the news lately.

It was Wan Mei Mei, the model who ruined a lot of women's lives. She was a very vicious woman who treats others like nothing as she sent them to darkness with her vicious schemes.

When her face was revealed, Wan Mei Mei did not stop but instead a glint of viciousness appears in her eyes as she suddenly takes out something from inside her jacket.

"Ma Liling! Since you ruined me, I will make sure that you will be ruined forever!" she shouted.

This same scenario replays in Ma Liling's mind as she experienced the same thing from before. But she just sneered, if it is the same acid from before, she is not afraid. So she just watches as the woman drew closer.

Suddenly Ma Liling could clearly see what she is hiding inside her jacket. It was not a bottle of acid or anything, it was actually a weapon. She was a bit astonished as to how she was able to get the weapon inside the airport.

Everything happened so fast, and Ma Liling also saw a few guards who seem to act not like the others. In fact, they are all closing in towards her and not stopping Wan Mei Mei.

She saw the venomous smile on that hateful woman and Ma Liling knew that she could not hold back anymore. This time, she would not show her gentle side, or her acting prowess, this time, they will all see what Ma Liling could truly do.
