Yu Bai was too angry at this time upon seeing his wife getting slapped. He truly wanted to show the world that those who hurt his woman would suffer a never-ending misery. However, he suddenly recovers from his rage when he noticed that everyone is looking at him with a weird gaze.

"Oh, it's you!" Yu Qi seems to have recognized Yu Bai as she showed a beaming expression on her pretty face.

Yu Bai nodded his head and showed a faint smile on his handsome face.

"I was passing by when I saw this scene… I would never have expected that such a respectable actress would be so vicious…" Yu Bai said in an icy tone while glaring at Tang Arjin who is now hiding behind Jin Da Lin.

From the way the man before them is dressed, one can tell that he is someone who commands authority, an alpha male, a person who is both feared and respected. Though he looks young, he has the aura of maturity and power which is different from his age.

Upon hearing Yu Bai's icy tone, Jin Da Lin immediately frowns. He could not retort as he knew that it was Tang Arjin's fault for hitting an ordinary woman. But what baffles Jin Da Lin the most is how the man seemed to be really angry just because of a situation where he is actually not involved.

"Mister, I don't know your name, but this is just a misunderstanding. Miss Tang is willing to apologize for what happened; I hope that this would not escalate further…" Jin Da Lin said.

He is a calm and cautious person; he would not want this thing to affect the career of the woman he loves. So he would do anything to stop this from escalating.

"Humph… Apologize? I did not hear her even apologize… Let's see if she really can…" Yu Bai said while folding his hand on his chest and looking coldly at Tang Arjin.

Right now, he dare not turn around and look at Ma Mian. He was too anxious and walk to this place because of his worry for her. He truly regretted that he could not openly protect his woman. But Yu Bai would not let this go until he is satisfied and Ma Mian gets the justice she deserves.

Seeing that everything is getting out of hand, Ma Mian decided to stop the farce before it gets bigger.

"It's okay… I am fine…" she said trying to stop the people from arguing because of her.

Upon hearing this, indignation filled Yu Bai's heart. He did not want to stop until he teaches that woman who slapped his wife a good lesson.

He turns around and walks beside Ma Mian who immediately recognized who the person is. He was that executive who made her fall at the Jaiolong Corporation audition. He was a bit cold at that time and seems to not care about her though she is very beautiful at that time.

But now this person is showing a warm feeling around him, though he is still a bit cold on the outside, him stepping for her made her feel warm.

"Are you okay? Come with me…" Yu Bai said as he suddenly grabs Ma Mian's hand subconsciously.

When he saw the red palm mark on her cheeks his heart could not help but bleed for her. Though he could not do anything, for now, he could still help her heal that bruise. Yu Qi on the other hand followed behind the two while waving her hand towards Jin Da Lin.

"Uncle Da Lin, I'll go first… Take care! Bye, bye!" Yu Qi said cutely while waving her hand.

Jin Da Lin also waves his hand while showing an awkward smile. However, he still frowns when he is trying to think of something.

"What is it?" suddenly Tang Arjin behind him asked.

"Hmmm? Oh… I… I think I know that guy somewhere… But…" Jin Da Lin muttered as he still tries to remember where he saw Yu Bai's face.

Then suddenly something dawned unto him.

"That's right! That… That person is a top executive in the Jiaolong Corporation. I think they call him 'The Inspector', as he would always go around every business under the Corporation and fix problems they are facing." Jin Da Lin said as he showed admiration in his eyes.

As a businessman and an entrepreneur, he truly wanted a person just like that. Someone who would fix the many problems that his company is facing.

Tang Arjin did not say anything, she knew it immediately after hearing the name Jiaolong Corporation, and she knew that the person is not that simple.

Meanwhile, the three walk towards a black 4-door Mercedes Benz AMG GT. The car is not that high profile but it is fine as Yu Bai did not want to attract any attention.

"Wait… stop!" Ma Mian who has already recovered from her stupor suddenly pulled her hand away from Yu Bai's grasp.

"I want to thank you for what you did for us… last night and also just now, but we should not be wasting your time. So I hope that mister…"

"Yun Hai… I'm Yun Hai…" Yu Bai suddenly interrupted.

"Ye… Yeah, Mister Yun Hai… I hope that you can accept my thanks… Our thanks…" Ma Mian said while lowering her head.

Seeing his wife bowing towards him, Yu Bai feels a bit awkward, so he immediately grabs her shoulder and stops her.

"Wait… if… if you really wanted to thank me… then… then how about we can go and grab dinner. Yes… dinner would be alright. Let's go…" he said with a smile as he opens the car doors.

Yu Qi showed an excited look on her face. Though she didn't know what is happening, she is excited to dine with the man whom she sees as her hero.

In fact, she thinks that she has a crush on the guy. He was really handsome that night when he easily takes down those goons. She felt like he is her dashing knight in silver armor ready to save her anytime.

With this in mind, before Ma Mian could react, Yu Qi has already dragged her inside the backseat of Yu Bai's car.
