It's getting late in the day. Andien has been confined to her private room on the second floor of the shop since Viona's return. Her hands trembled slowly as she had a headache. For the past three months, she has rarely taken the anti-anxiety medication prescribed by her doctor. And the drugs were never found in her bag again. Andien was desperate to get away from all of the sedatives.
Andien was still curled up on the room's only sofa. Every time she felt anxious, it was as if the world tightened around her, the air around her was reduced, and her energy was sucked out. The memory of all the disturbances made by Dirga's ex-wife just kept making her head throb in pain. Andien didn't even open her eyes until she heard a knock on her door.
There was no response, so the man who knocked opened the door in front of him.
"Baby..." he called.
