Chapter 23 - Love Birds

Let's us play a different game today Alex said while sitting on the edge of his bed.

What about spin the bottle, Rio replied. And what is the game all about, he asked.

I spin the bottle and whoever the bottle stops at will do what he or she is told to do, Rio said.

So then let us get two more servants to play the game with us, Alex said.

Oh no need, my cousin and my boyfriend are on their way here, Rio replied.

Alright then, when they arrive, you have to inform me.

Yes, I will, Rio said before shutting the door. He didn't even seems bothered at the name my boyfriend, my prank isn't working well, how will I make him jealous Rio thought.

What boyfriend is she talking about, I thought she liked me, Alex said quietly as he felt jealousy run through him even at the thought of it.

Few minutes later, Rio's cousins arrived and they were both asked to join the game.

When it was Alex turn, Joanna said that she will be the one to tell him what to do and they all agreed.

Then she faced Alex and said I dare you to speak in Chinese or ask my cousin out then she winked at Rio who smiled back at her.

(Clears throat)

Alex called Rio who was smiling sheepishly then she answered shyly and waited for what he is about to say to her, her mind is filled up with different thought of how he is going to ask her out in front of her cousins and to every ones surprise, Alex started speaking in Chinese, even though he does not know what he is saying, nobody seems to notice that though. The only thing they noticed was the ugly expression on Rio's face and Joan looking else where trying hard not to laugh.

Umm Rio groaned then she stormed to her feet and walked out angrily.

I think you made her angry the boy said. I didn't mean to do that, it wasn't intentional Alex replied.

You were just about to ask her out right in front of us, why the sudden change of mind Joan asked.

I couldn't ask her out in front of her boy friend, Alex replied looking at the boy sitting next to Joan.

Did she tell you that?

Am not her boyfriend, we are not dating, he said with a surprised look on his face.

He is my brother, Joan replied.

She calls me boyfriend, he said

So why was she so mad, Alex asked them with a confused gaze.

Maybe she likes you, Joan replied with a smile.

Alex couldn't hide his face, he was all red.

This is so funny, you should apologize to her, he said.

I didn't know, she said so, so I thought so.

She definitely likes you Joan replied. Come on go go, the boy pushed him then he stood up to his feet and went out of the room to meet Rio...

That is Mr Eun Ok missing son right, her brother asked.

Jade, shhhh, don't tell anyone about it alright. Let's just wait for the two love birds to come back.
