Chapter 14 - Principal's Rage

Few months later...

Today as you would all be graduating, I want to be the one to call out the students who would be getting an award.

So I will call on Miss Camelia Colonel for the award of the most neatest student in the school, three girls cheered and clapped as she goes to the front for her award.

The best student in Biology goes to Alexander (applause), everyone cheered as he walked forward for his award.

The best student in English goes to Henry Anderson, everyone clapped as he also walked forward for his award. The principal announced the best student for the rest of the subjects and after that she announced the best graduating student of the year.

The best graduating student of this year have broken the record in yeands international school so far. None of the past graduating student have never scored higher than what she got in her final exams. And also, all the competitions she represented us with, she came first in all of it, some students clapped as the principal stated the few achievement of the best graduating student of the year, while some parents were curious of who the student will be. The principal went further and said, the best graduating student of the year will be given a scholarship that is going to cover all her college fees, a few students screamed in surprised.

The best graduating student goes to Anastasia, the principal was surprised at first when she noticed that her name was without a surname but she shakes it off. As Sia stood up from where she was sitting, all the attention was drawn to her. Everyone gave her a standing ovation as she walked forward for her award except Camelia who hissed loudly as she crossed her legs sitting comfortably on her chair. After presenting the awards the principal asked Sia and Alex to see her in her office afterwards.

The little children got scared and thought about running away before they were caught by the principal. I thought I told you both that I want to see you at my office, she said blocking their path.

They both followed her to her office...

Why did you both don't have a surname, she asked them.

Nothing ma, Sia replied.

Okay, but I just found out recently that I couldn't find your names in your teacher's register and I didn't see you here at my office the first day you enroll into this school, can you explain that to me, the principal said harshly to them.

Ma, are you sure cause there are over 500 students attending this school, could you really remember, Sia said as her voice began to shake.

We are doomed, Alex thought without saying anything.

We are gonna get arrested, Sia screamed in her head at the thought of being in jail for two good years, am still a minor, so there is a high chance, i won't be arrested, but I don't wanna go to a juvenile court she thought.

How did you get into this school, the principal yelled at them.

Silence...

Speak, she yelled and banged her hand on the table.

Immediately, the fourteen years old Sia began to cry and confess.

Alex slapped his forehead with his palm. My God, I will sue you both, the principal yelled.

I don't think there should be a need for that, we are kids that don't have families, we raise and feed our selves and we wanted to go to school to become a better people in the future but we couldn't afford it that is why we sneaked into your school, but it would be kind of you if you think about our condition and forgive us, Alex said without baiting an eye.

Am going to sue the both of you and you, she said pointing at Sia, your scholarship has been cancelled. Useless kids.

Watch your language, Alex said as he stood to his feet and helped Sia who had more tears to cry out.

(Sniff) we are very sorry mam, please forgive us, Sia said to the principal.

Get Out!!! She yelled at them.

We are leaving already, Alex thought as they left the Principal's office.
