After putting the Military Installation in the Wanderers Library I was thinking about the (Storefront) an (Factory). As they were obviously meant to go together, but what if I just had the factory connected to the Site and used the storefront to sell SCP-500. And I don't mean the cure all end all ones I mean a dampened down version that will make you slowly recover from whatever afflictions affected you. And for the (Factory) it would just be insanely usefull to have it connected to the site as then I wouldn't have to ferry the dragons breath converters for my weapons through the Way. And would prevent say the GOC or Foundation raiding it to stop Bullwarks means of production.
We had already transported all these materials to build a fortress I couldn't see how getting some to modify weapons would be a problem. So then the only question became where to put the storefront in the world. And also where to out the (Factory) as I didn't want to gas everyone in the facility.
(Inquiry Detected: (Factory) does not produce industrial waste.)
Well that's usefull.
So I went down to Entrance zone as it was pretty barren with mostly guards being informed and trained on their dutys. You would sometimes see a white coat in the see of grey, but it was pretty rare as there was only 20 in the facility. I needed more SCPs to study, but I need MTF to do it if not me. And I was needed in so many places I was wondering if I could make a copy of myself using Time manipulation. After surveying a spot to put the factorys I settled on an area that wasn't too high traffic, but fairly close to Bullwarks storage zones.
After putting it down I was greeted by,
(Factory has been summoned)
(Gained: 1,250 all purpose workers,
50 managers)
(Please select what product your (Factory) produces)
(Civilian) (Military) (Vehicle) (Spacecraft)
(Note: To produce anything made in the factory you must have to knowledge, or blueprint, of how to make it)
I was going to choose (Spacecraft) but I read the note and imediately threw that idea out the window. I clicked on (Military) just in case this wasn't a you get a description, and confirm button kinda deal. But was instead greated with.
(Military Type Factory)
Produces anything from small arms to tanks to artillery batteries. The speed of how these things are produced is determined by workers, material used and how efficient the machines in the (factory) are along the with how complex the item you want is. When the desired product is made they will deposit it in a designated storage zone of your choosing. This (Factory) has the perk of everything made is unable to malfunction or deteriorate unless deliberately struck.
I then clicked on (Civilian)
(Civilian Type Factory)
From day to day products such as food or clothes. To phones and laptops this factory is made to make money. This (Factory) has the perk of making items 25% faster then all competitors.
It was basic, and the system probably meant for me to choose that one to stop being poor. Fortunately crime pays.
Clicking on the (Vehicle) tab showed this.
(Vehicle Type Factory)
You want a Jeep we'll get it to you in a day. You want a tank give us a week. Railgun you provide us the right materials we can make it into an orbital laser though we won't be able to launch it. But if you have the right materials we can make it. This (Factory) has the perk of all vehicles made by it being 10% more efficient in everything.
It was good, but I was more focused on small arms right now I wasn't needing to blow up a facility, yet.
Clicking on (Spacecraft) it was about what I expected
(Spacecraft Type Factory)
This Factory has been outfitted to make spacecraft whether a shuttle or a battleship. Although being the most advanced (Factory) requires a higher standard for equitment that you currently don't have. This (Factory) has the perk of anything made by it will operate at optimal efficiency no matter the conditions.
That perk was really good, but I didn't have the plans to a spaceship in my back pocket. Besides unless if I found a more efficient power source it would be unreasonable to use for oporations.
Obviously selecting the (Military Type Factory) I found it materialize infront of me. Walking through the doors I was met by a bunch of burly men doing what looked to be maintenance. Upon noticing my arrival one of them said. "Boss allow me to show you too the manager." His coworkers around him seemed to grow agitated at not thinking of doing it first. Guiding me to what looked like another random door to storage rooms that thw workers kept going into I found it was actually a door to a simplistic looking office.
Upon entering I was greeted by a middle aged man in a blue tuxedo, black tie and white undershirt. There was a clear contrast compared to the worker as he was on the short side and upon my entry said.
"Bert you may continue your dutys. And boss great to see you absolutely loving the new position can I get you anything before we begin." Okay there were a few things wrong with this. One he seemed alive not the oh I'm a somewhat advanced AI kind of alive. But he carried himself with purpose and had an actual personality. Collecting myself for a millisecond I replied.
"Yes I believe we have to figure out what resources you need and the project you will be working on." I said ready to get into the nitty gritty of logistics.
"There will be no need for that you want a converter that can be inserted into the FSP-9s and Crossvecs. I have already contacted logistics and have gotten myself the materials needed for making them. The thing I want to know is your mindset your vision for what Bullwark will be. Aside from protecting the world of course." He explained
"Gain knowledge, expand Bullwark, prevent the end if the world and gain enough power to not be constrained by the worlds laws. Though I can't do any of that if someone, or something destroys the world first." I gave an answer as honest answer and looking back at what I said my connection to the Library definitely affected my whole wanting knowledge thing. Not that it was bad just something to keep in mind.
"Reasonable answers and motives my name is Jordon Belfort and I look forward to our partnership." My brain fried for a second at his introduction. How the fuck did I get the Wolf of Wallstreet in a factory? "And I look forward too ours." I said while pondering "partnership". He seemed like he had free will though I was almost certain it was a facade. Why would everyone else, but him in particular. Be able to break the systems control.
After leaving I decided to check in on my Time Keeper as I was getting a little antsy over the whole crippling my soul fiasco. Plus those soul husks felt right to have absorbed. Finding their location to be at a confirmed Church hideout I used the Way to get to the Knock closest to their location. Upon arriving I turned myself invisible through manipulating light to just go around me using Infinity. Upon arriving I found a few spectral warriors with gunshots in them while what seemed to be medics treated them. Arriving I nonchalantly tossed them both weaker versions of SCP-500 and after they swallowed asked where the Time Keeper was.
