Sixteen

Eshika furiously pushed Laura's body trying to grab her hair for the umpteenth time. When Laura's body fell backwards, that's when Laura's two friends named Dina and Nova came to hold Eshika's hands. Velly tried to pull one of the two, but Laura pulled Velly's body so she fell down too.

Several salespeople seemed to be trying to intervene. However, what was there instead was Laura throwing various tools there. She raged just like a man with no sense anymore.

When people dodged Laura's throwing things, the girl quickly grabbed Velly's bowl of chicken noodles. She walked closer to Eshika who was being held helplessly by Dina and Nova.

Eshika looked straight at Laura.

"How dare you gang up on me like this, Lau?" asked Eshika. "I won't stay still!"

Laura returned Eshika's gaze with no less sharpness. "Who's looking for trouble first? Where is your brain to even dare to take Tama from me?"

Eshika closed her mouth tightly.

Laura smirked. Then throw the contents of the chicken noodles to Eshika. Suddenly Eshika closed her eyes, avoiding the spicy sauce from entering her eyes.

"Praaang!"

Eshika felt her breath catch as her body felt as if someone was holding her. Especially when she realized that she didn't feel the chicken noodle spray on his body. So, timidly, Eshika opened her eyes. And what her eyes saw first was the chest of a strange looking man with something protruding faintly from under his uniform. That thing looks like a necklace...

Eshika raised her face. Seeing Tama's face harden.

"Ta … ma …."

Tama let go of Eshika's body. Staring unblinkingly at Dina and Nova who spontaneously let go of Eshika's hand when Tama suddenly appeared and hugged Eshika's body. Just when Laura's hand threw the contents of the chicken noodle bowl. Laura's hands shook, causing the glass bowl to fall to the floor.

Laura's body froze, feeling cold. Seeing how the chicken noodles landed and soiled Tama's uniform.

Tama turned around. Ignoring the wet and warm feeling that hit his back from the chicken noodles, he glared furiously at Laura. Instantly the whole cafeteria became silent seeing Tama's anger ready to explode.

"Tama ..." Laura tried to speak, but it sounded so stuttering. "Ta … ma …."

"What do you think you are doing huh?! What are you doing, Laura?!" asked Tama snapping at Laura. "How dare you gang up on Eshika like this!"

Behind Tama's body, Eshika immediately cleaned herself as best she could with Velly.

Laura tried to see Eshika behind Tama's body, but the boy seemed to block Laura's view.

"I-I-I just wanted to teach Eshika a lesson. Let her not interfere with our relationship again."

"What did you say?"

Laura was silent. She doesn't answer Tama's question. Tama's hardened face looked scary.

Tama growled. "I told you too. We broke up and it has nothing to do with Eshika at all."

"B-but …."

"But, if you feel that Eshika ruined our relationship, it means that you also ruined my relationship with Kiki yesterday. Is not it?"

Laura's mouth opened, but she said nothing.

"I don't want something like this to happen again," said Tama. "Do you want me to be with Eshika or with anyone else ..."

Behind Tama's body, Eshika glared at Tama's words.

"… it has nothing to do with anyone. Do you understand?"

Laura bit her lower lip. Her face looks even redder. Ignoring that, Tama turned around instead. Looking at the drenched and messy Eshika.

"Are you all right, Esh? Anyone hurt?"

Eshika's eyes looked red. Both hands pushed Tama's body. Put some distance between them. Then, in a trembling voice the girl said.

"I really hate you, Tam!"

Silently, Tama glanced at Eshika who was sitting in front of her. Due to their different rows of seats, Tama could clearly see Eshika's face that was still so irritated. Well, who wouldn't be upset if they were drenched in orange juice? After all, Eshika had never experienced such an incident in her entire life. It's clear his annoyance is getting worse.

Reki elbowed Tama in the stomach. The boy turned.

"Looks like this is really bad," Reki whispered. "But, you also got chicken noodles. To the point where you have to change into your futsal uniform."

Tama glanced at his body. Since the uniform was completely helpless and after all, who would still wear a uniform full of soy sauce, sauce, and chili sauce? So, Tama decided to go to the gym and take his futsal uniform there. As for Eshika, because the orange juice hit her head and face more, she practically just rinsed her hair in the toilet. The uniform is safe and clean enough to keep it in use.

"Eshika can't possibly complain to your Mama right?"

Tama glanced at Reki briefly. Shrugging his shoulders briefly. But, that possibility did cross Tama's mind. After all, he didn't want to be scolded for something he didn't cause. It was Laura who started all of this, not her. Even Tama had thought of something.

The whole class became noisy while Tama got up immediately. In front of his, Eshika's face turned red when she heard her name being called.

Tama know. This is the first time for Eshika to be called by a BK teacher. The girl must have been pissed off by it.
