Ian turned to Colin. “Do you need a pillow? I remember the day after my mating, I had a hard time sitting down. You’ve waited so long that you feel you have to do it all in one night. I ached for days. Ask Michelle.”
Colin moved his head around and found Michelle bearing down on him with a pillow in her hands. “You’ll need this if you intend to sit much longer.”
“You must be a mind-reader. Ian just said something and I was contemplating asking Marc, but he’s busy with pack business.” Colin examined Michelle closely. “You should sit down. You’ve been on your feet for days.”
“Maybe you’re right, Alpha Mate. Maybe I’ll sit after I get myself some turkey, stuffing, and candied yams.”
“You sit right here and I’ll make you a plate.” Colin got up from his pillow. Marc walked up to Colin at the buffet table.
“Another plate?” Marc teased.
