Beep.Beep. Beep.

*While at the camp*

Beep, beep, beep. A weird noise woke me up from my deep peace. It was quite dark in the room I couldn't make where the sound was coming from. I waited a few minutes, but it continued beeping.

I bent across the bed to find the light switches. It was hard to locate them since they were also flat as the wall, making it indifferent. Eventually, I found them. I turned the lights on and got off the bed. I looked under the bed, nothing. I instantly started looking around the wall corners and shelf, but nothing.

The sound got louder. I rapidly shuffled out of the door following the commotion. The beeping got more tumultuous as I walked towards the conference room. A silhouette of a guy was projecting on the floor. He dropped an envelope and disappeared away.

I cautiously went near the envelope. The person wasn't in the sight. The packaging looked quite familiar. I don't know if I should take it or not. What's the worst that can happen, right? I softly tiptoed back to my room and locked it. It was not an envelope, but a squared shaped box in a brown paper packaging. I don't know where I have seen this, but I know I have.

I slide off the packaging carefully, the inside of the paper had a sketch of me when I was a baby. Instantly, it clicked. On my 7th birthday, my sister got me this doll I really wanted. When we had first seen it, she refused to buy it for me because it was too girly. But later on, I realized she said no that day because it was expensive.

I remember that moment to this very day. I was sitting alone in my room when she knocked on the door. Without even saying a word, she hugged me tightly and handed me the package. And guess what? It was that doll.I opened the box, it had a note and a silver bracelet. The bracelet had I love you crafted on it in cursive with Swarovski diamonds clinging to every inch of it.I carefully placed it on the bed and opened the letter. It said:

"Dear Charles,

I am sorry for fighting with you. I love you a lot. I don't want to lose you. If you wear the bracelet tomorrow, I am going to assume that you have accepted my apology. I want to come and talk to you. But I need some time to think over my actions and sort some problems out.

Yours truly,

Stella."

Did Stella actually write this? She was literally shooting me looks in the morning, what happened between then and now? Whatever, I don't care anymore. I just don't want us to fight. If wearing this bracelet is going to end all the problems, then I will.
