“I saw how she puffed up when you were hugging Derrick and when I introduced her to Candace, she dropped she had met Jasmine at a Lambda Legal fundraiser. You know she works for them.”

“I didn’t know that. but how does that make Jasmine and me girlfriends,” I said, slipping my feet into a pair of twelve steps shoes; that’s how far I would be able to walk in them before I would have to sit down. Depending on the outfit and the party, this might work.
