Chapter 65

“They’re all out on the deck,” Will said, motioning for them to come with him. “Everything’s gonna be okay.” He took Kieran’s elbow. “So, you’re a massage therapist?”

Liam followed Will and Kieran, glad to have his baby brother here with him to smooth things over. Through the patio door, he caught sight of his family, sitting around the table. Rye’s eyes met his.

Liam raised his hand and waved at him.

Rye stared at him for a moment and then slowly grinned.

Liam could have cried. His brother hadn’t smiled at him like that since that night he’d fought with Kieran. Will slid the patio door open and they stepped out on the deck. Austin and Dylan were in the yard, running though the sprinkler. They shouted their greetings, but didn’t come up. Angie was the first to stand. She held Patricia in her arms and extended her free hand out to Kieran. “Finally,” she said with a smile. “We meet.”

Kieran shook her hand. “Yes, ma’am. Nice to meet you.”
