"Yes, you should have," said Wen Qinxi before he stood up with a scowl in between his brows. He knew his own mouth very well so he decided to leave before he said
something he would regret.
A sense of panic set in making Qie Ranzhe stand up abruptly and grab Wen Qinxi's wrist stopping him. "Don't go..... please," said Qie Ranzhe turning into silly putty in an instant. No one else, not even his mother could make him feel this way all except this man who held so much power over him. His thumb soothingly caressed Wen Qinxi's wrist.
"Let me cool off first," said Wen Qinxi without looking at him. Qie Ranzhe reluctantly let him go and watched his disappearing back with complicated feelings.
What Wen Qinxi described as cooling off was going to his apartment, change into his comfy onesie and PVP with whomever he could find online. He wasn't especially good at games but when he was angry his online friends knew to stay clear of the arena.
