A few kilometres off the shores of the resort island there was an isolated abandoned cabin deep in the jungle. Inside a group of men lazied around in the smouldering heat.
Some were playing cards while others were watching things on their cell phones in the thick smog of cigarette smoke. A soft ringtone echoed in the boisterous room and they all took a glance at the man sleeping in a hammock.
The man pulled off the hat covering his face as he picked up the call. His croaky voice sounded and the room immediately fell silent.
The call was short but it left the man smiling revealing his tobacco-stained teeth. When he smiled the others got excited. They were about to make a lot of easy money, enough money that they could retire.
"We are going to get rich," said one of them and the others joined in cheering celebrating the easiest job they could ever have. It was to abduct one teenage boy for two million euros.
