34: Night Talk.

Samus and Ciri were in a room, silence settled over them as they each went their separate ways, changing into clothes more suitable for sleeping. Samus was dying to sleep at this point, but she needed to have a conversation, and well, the advantage of being able to see beauty out of the corner of her eye was a bonus.

Ciri had noticed the furtive glances the blonde was sending her. Still, she didn't mind, and she even adopted some unnecessarily provocative postures while getting dressed, thanks to her mother Yennefer for that vital knowledge.

Samus was only wearing a blue sports bra and orange shorts, while Ciri wore a black nightgown, but we're not here for sensuality, so let's forget about that for now, shall we? Okay.

The two of them sat on the bed and Samus pulled T-Path out of her stash, to postpone the inevitable conversation tonight. She wasn't the only one who had things to talk about, and it seemed that even Ciri let herself be led by Samus so that she wouldn't have to speak so soon.

"I guess procrastinating any longer is fucked up. First of all, I want to apologize," Samus started to speak, and when Ciri started to speak, she held up her hand to stop her.

"I'm sorry, I have to, okay? I know I was a little careless," the blonde said, ignoring the egg of this undefined life that lay in its incubator a few meters away from them.

"I just want to tell you that I'll do my best to make sure that any future recklessness on my part doesn't affect you," Ciri was quicker than Samus when she started to speak.

"I guess you're mature enough to realize your mistakes, but also stupid enough to think that I'll let you do crazy things on your own, at least I expect you to warn me.

We are on a journey together, we will explore interesting places and some of them will be dangerous, I don't doubt that in some of them, you will have reasons to do your things, but I know that you never do things randomly. I want to give you my support and... Stop licking my hand," Ciri complained, wiping her palm with saliva.

"It's just that you started to give me a super cheesy speech, I never said you wouldn't support me, just that I'd have more of a conscience by now so I wouldn't risk you. Luckily it was Cosmo I saw that way and not Jorgen, or worse, I know there are magical beings even higher than him," Samus quickly clarified when she saw Ciri's green eyes looking at her with some annoyance.

"You could wait for my 'super corny speech' to end, you're just as eccentric as your father," Ciri joked, causing Samus to scrunch up her face a bit at this revelation.

"My dad is a super weird guy! I'm not weird, I'm just beautiful, gorgeous, a beauty without equal, the epitome of sexiness," Samus shook her hair during her narcissistic speech, but Ciri was used to it enough not to pout.

"Well, but there are some things I'd like to be involved in, I mean, if you have any plans, I'd like to know, you know? We're friends," Ciri put her hands over hers, making the blonde blush, but she mustered the courage not to turn her face away.

I don't know if it was courage or one of her loose screws finally loosening, but Samus moved a little closer to Ciri, and as if she understood this subtle gesture, Ciri moved closer to her as well, initiating a small kiss, it didn't last long and there was only a soft contact between their lips, but for Samus, this situation was as euphoric as the enlightenment she had received a few hours ago.

'Wait, we've got a creature on the way, we're kissing each other, and we're even alone in a room...' The fantasies that popped into her head were R-rated.

If God found out that Samus was using the quick thought he had given her to imagine offensive content, he might laugh or even censor the blonde's thoughts.

When the kiss ended, Samus didn't want to sit in silence, so she waved her hand at T-Path, which projected an image that any player of The Witcher would recognize. It was Geralt of Rivia. It took Ciri almost no time at all to realize this, so she looked at Samus in amazement.

"Hey, why do you have a picture of Geralt?" although Ciri had talked to Samus about her acquaintances, she had never shown her pictures, she didn't have any.

"That's what I wanted to talk to you about... I guess you're smart enough and have the mental strength to handle this, but in many other universes, most of them with modern backgrounds, you're a fictional character," Samus decided not to prolong the conversation any longer and finally brought it up.

"I don't quite understand, am I a character in a game or something?" she noticed that what she was seeing through the T-Path projection was a game like the ones Samus sometimes played, she didn't quite understand them, though she preferred the fighting ones.

"Something like that, in many universes you are a character in a series of novels, games, lots of cartoons and porn, too much porn" Samus showed certain animations where Triss had... you know, let's not go into details.

Let's just say that the next time Ciri met Triss Merigold, she would look at her crotch several times to confirm something before even approaching her. After Samus showed her examples of some of the products she was in, T-Path even showed her a picture of Henry Cavill.

"Why are you showing me a picture of that guy?" asked Ciri, and after she calmed down a bit, she had to give Samus a hard slap on the head to get her to remove that unrealistic animation.

"Oh, he's going to play Geralt in a series, not here but in other universes," Samus said as she touched her head, Ciri not being very gentle with her for insisting on watching that video.

"Well, I suppose with makeup and white hair there might be some resemblance," Ciri mused, who took it relatively well that her persona had been portrayed in fictional media if we ignore certain types of content.

Samus was ready to comfort a sad Ciri with a super generic, sweet speech, but the gray-haired girl was even enthusiastic about playing the Witcher trilogy.

"Wait, and you were represented like me too?" asked Ciri, she had a lot of questions to ask Samus about how she knew this kind of information, but she would get to that later.

"Oh yes, games, drawings, animations... I don't know why animators are so obsessed with my image and ugly monsters," Samus complained about the last one, mumbling some gibberish about doing her 3D animation.

"Uh, skip the animations, yeah? And do the Professor, Hermes, and Amy show up too?" noticing the strange state Samus was in, Ciri quickly asked another question.

"That's another topic I wanted to talk to you about, it's a serious one, and usually my kind doesn't talk about it, but my grandfather knows about it because I told him when I was 13, so it's worth mentioning to you.

Technically, there are representations of them, but they are .... another franchise, so to speak, it's a little complicated to explain, but I'll show you," Samus waved her hand, causing another screen to project.

While one showed the Super Metroid game from the SNES console, the other showed the intro to the Futurama show. Ciri stopped and watched a random episode of the show, the seventh episode of the fourth season, one of Samus' favorites.

"Who is this guy named Fry?" asked Ciri, and Samus sighed as she began to talk about her distant uncle.

"A distant uncle of the family who was trapped in ice for a thousand years until he woke up in the year 3000 will technically appear in my universe in a few months. But why do I know this because I know this show? What do you know about reincarnation?" the question from Samus made Ciri look at her in silence, and she suddenly pulled the blonde into an embrace.

"I guess it's one of those topics that's hard to talk about, but I swear I'll do my best to understand you," even though she didn't know how complicated this topic in question was, she decided to give Samus her support and showed it with her hug.

"Look, in some works of fiction, it's related to a certain guy from a normal world who dies and then is reborn in a new world, some with advantages or traps and stuff.

Well, I showed up before the God of the Futurama universe with fragmented memories, almost no personality, just the memories of all the entertainment I'd had, but just some ideas, even those memories weren't entirely clear.

So with literally God's help, I'm a beautiful 15-year-old girl with gorgeous blonde hair and a gorgeous body that would be the envy of anyone," Samus broke the gloomy atmosphere with her joke, but even though Ciri also burst out laughing, she also tightened her hug even more.

"Why so much secrecy then, did God forbid it or something?" asked Ciri with deserved curiosity.

"No, but there's some kind of rule among the reincarnated not to tell that they are as if it would get them a punishment from heaven, well, in some worlds maybe that's possible," Samus reminded poor Klein, who ended up in a super fucked up world, silently praying to Mr. Fool.

"I don't understand, isn't reincarnation an endless cycle and stuff?" from the few things she had seen and learned from her time on some worlds, Ciri asked this question because she thought it was like that.

"Yes, indeed it is, it seems like reincarnation can even be something that affects the entire omniverse as a whole, but those people are generally paranoid, and well, sometimes the situation they go through is super fucked up.

For example, I know a certain being, I won't say his name so as not to attract your attention because he's kind of a nasty guy about some things, but he was reborn in a world where mages were the supreme power, and he had a special advantage that made his path to the top relatively easier than others.

If for some reason someone found out about his condition or what was inside of him, it could have been much worse, death would be the least of his worries and pain would be a norm in his life," Samus was talking about Leylin, who might be a detached existence from his original multiverse and might be out there in the Omniverse.

Even though Samus didn't like some of the things the man did, he was one of her role models, a being who went to the top, to his truth, without anything or anyone stopping him, she wanted to emulate his determination, albeit with her means and conditions.

"I like it when you talk about things like that, interesting stories and stuff. I guess a lot of the things you told me have happened or will happen somewhere, right?" asked Ciri, and Samus just shook her shoulders.

"What can I tell you, I'm a good storyteller. Now, ask all the questions you want, and I'll do my best to answer them, and one day we could watch some shows together if you want," the last was an invitation, and while it couldn't be Netflix and chill because of her age, just watching shows was fine.

"I would love that! Now, I have a few questions I'd like to ask..." The hours passed and the two talked for quite a while until sleep overcame them and they finally fell asleep.

Ciri clung to Samus as they slept, in her dream the gray-haired girl was surrounded by something very soft and warm, while Samus' dream was 100% influenced by her teenage hormones.

AN: Some people might not like it that Samus talks about her reincarnation, but first of all, it's my fanfic, secondly, in certain cases where it's not risky, I always like to have the reincarnated character talk about her situation, I feel like some interesting interactions arise under that premise, because, well,

Why do you know so much about a subject that others think you haven't even touched on? That was one of Ciri's doubts when I heard her talking to Samus about other universes and situations in them that she had never participated in or even heard of, even if they had television from other realities or universes.

Have some idea about my story? Comment it and let me know.
