Transmigration

Every feeling came rushing into his body. He could feel his heart thumping against his chest, the pain coming from his neck, and the sense of warm dampness coming from it.

He opened his eyes, and he could only see a green forest in front of him. He struggled to move his right hand towards his neck, where he touched the fluid and moved his hand in front of his eyes.

It was blood.

He has no idea where he was; he didn't even live anywhere near a forest, and his last memory was of him lying in bed.

He could faintly hear sounds of footsteps behind him, and he struggled to shout, "Help!"

He didn't know if they heard him, but he kept trying until he passed out. He knew he would die if they left him there.

He woke up feeling much better than before. The pain in his neck was gone, and he could move more comfortably than before.

But the most significant difference was the warm feeling in his stomach; it was vibrant and made him feel much more comfortable than be should've been in his situation.

Suddenly the door was opened, and a black-haired man came in, he was wearing armor and a spear strapped to his back. He seemed to be a soldier or a guard of some sort.

When the man saw him standing in his bed, he made a surprised face and said, "You are finally awake, kid."

He nodded and assumed this man was his savior, "Thank you for saving my life."

The man just grabbed a seat and placed it near his bed and said in relief as he sat, "Just doing my job."

The man then said, "You were almost a goner too, had to unlock your aura, else you wouldn't have made it back to the wall."

He was confused, what was an aura, and why did it save him?

He asked the man with bewilderment in his voice, "What's Aura?"

The main opened and closed his mouth a few times before he said carefully, "It's the manifestation of your soul. You know, the primary defense of Huntsmen."

He was freaking out now, that seemed an explanation that made no sense, but he calmed himself down and asked carefully, "Where am I?"

The guard replied as he covered his face with his hand, "Oh God, you don't remember anything, do you?"

He did remember a lot of his life, but there was a gap between lying in his bed and bleeding out in a forest, but before he could say that, the man said, "You are in the kingdom of Vale."

Every thought came to a halt—all except a few words

What. The. Fuck.

That was fucking impossible, that was a kingdom from RWBY. That was fiction.

He wanted to say to the man, 'This isn't the time for jokes.'

But one look at the guard's face stops the words in his throat. That man had a stone-cold expression that is had no choice but to accept.

He also had to take into consideration the circumstances. The man wouldn't joke about something like this to someone who almost died.

For now, he accepted it.

After a few moments of silence, he asked the guard, " Did I have anything with me?"

He was screwed if he came to another world with nothing, he could at least sell some stuff to buy some food. If not, he would just starve to death.

The man pointed towards the end of the room, where a sword within a sheath laid against the wall. The guard also said, "There's also your scroll and wallet in the nightstand."

He was baffled. He had no idea where those came from, but he wouldn't turn down free stuff.

He grabbed his wallet first as he had no idea how a scroll worked. He was stunned when he saw the ID.

Jaune Arc

Fuck. Me.

Now the sword and scroll were making a lot more sense.

But he only felt one thing, cheated.

'Where are my cheats!?'

Fucking ROB, ignoring protocol, he had to give him wishes or a choice. He can't just be dropped into the body of a member of the main cast, without a talk.

The guard stood up as if sensing his disbelief and went towards the door and said as he left, "I'll leave you alone for a moment, I'll come back with food later."

He absentmindedly said, 'Thanks.' as he faced his existential crisis.

What did this mean?

Was multiverse theory real?

Was every fictional world real?

Was he real?

But eventually, a question came to mind that eclipsed those.

What was he going to do now?

-LB-

It took a while, but his priority was survival.

And how this world was going to shit thanks to Salem soon, strength meant survival.

He had contemplated saying that he knew the future to Ozpin, but that would be putting his fate in the hands of another.

He couldn't do that. Besides, he had no proof.

So he would only entrust fate to his own hands

So that meant growing strong. With that, he had a couple of ideas. But that would only happen if he had money. He could only pray that Jaune hadn't wasted his money on transcripts.

He had some trouble, but eventually, he managed to figure out how to access Jaune's, his bank account.

Thankfully it recognized the fingerprint of the user.

He had 6000 liens. He had no idea what that meant.

After looking through it, he figured he didn't have to worry about groceries, as he had only spent 100 liens in three weeks in food.

Also, it seemed like Jaune hadn't gotten the transcripts as he hadn't used a lot of money.

That lead to his first step, unlocking his semblance. There had to be some way of awakening it. He prayed it for it to be Aura Amplification, which was a cheat ability.

But he was sure he wouldn't have that because Jaune's soul was gone, not a scrap left as he had no memories of Jaune.

He then started searching on the internet ways to unlock someone's semblance.

There were a couple of options for people using their semblance to activate others. They were something along the lines of 'forceful activation.'

The only trustworthy was the one person that would do it in Pharos Combat school. If he worked for a combat school, be had to be legitimate.

However, It would cost him 1000 lien.

He couldn't wait to unlock his semblance.
