Glimpse

That man had always given Selena the creeps. The way he looked at her, Selena always prayed that they would never be left alone in a room alone.. together. He was always watching her.

Sometimes, he licked his lips while he drooled, looking at her. Selena had tried to observe if he stared at the other girls like that but soon discovered that she was the only receiver of his glares.

She hated Joe.

She hated all of them.

Most of all, she hated that fat round smelly one that had raped her. 

It was the third night of her staying in the brothel. They had dragged her there, after what they had done in her house, and she stayed. There was nowhere else to go and she was young. Too young for what she had witnessed, too young to understand why her parents wouldn't wake up after a beating, too young to understand why they had not woken up when the men had taken her away.
