She was the one doing this, Kamilla thought. She tried her hardest to come up with something that could counter Maera's powers but didn't she need air to do that in the first place? Maera had been faster than Kamilla as she didn't see any such attacks coming her way. Perhaps, it had been her fault? She was the one that was about to comment on Maera's memory and age. Now, she was defenseless and it hurt Kamilla to admit defeat to anyone.
Kamilla's eyes fluttered close in a slow manner, then her body fell to the ground in the next instant.
"Ghah..." Kamilla gasped as she dragged in air, a little bit too much air for her lungs at once as she began to cough right after.
"Now," Maera began, "You will sit aside, fold your arms and watch Virus succeed and surpass you and you will not do anything about it," Maera Umbra ordered.
