Pandora De Mevius’ developed a crush for her childhood best friend, Braxton Goldman, but he suddenly disappeared one day without informing her, leaving her heartbroken and devastated. Chapter 19
He was determined that even if he couldn't get Pandora, he would make sure to prove to everyone doubting him that he was capable of investigating the perpetrators of the hurricane that hit them. He was probably inexperienced but he was willing to submit and learn from his father's counsel and guidance. He would thoroughly make sure peace was restored in their family.
He stepped out for a morning run to clear his mind as far as Pandora was concerned. Matt has offered to run with him despite his constant objection. As they jogged, a conversation ensued.
" Don't worry about her. She'll come around when she feels like it. Just try and sacrifice some of your time in our mission," Matt said when he felt his best friend's jogging speed decrease. He feared that his best friend was going through a change phase, meaning that his hurt feelings for Pandora had left him undergoing some changes in behavior to attain some kind of self-gratification.
