Accepting help on the street

"I was returning from my patient's resident when I overheard your phone conversation, and your friend situation tally with my current patient's condition.

I decided to mind my own business and not approach you yesterday but coincidentally I saw you this morning and I just couldn't help myself, so I decided to talk to you." Matthew explained.

'Do doctors do that?' Sonya asked in her head.

"Why were you coming from your patient's resident? I apologise  for this question," Sonya said.

"None offense taken miss, actually my patient is an important figure in our society and couldn't risk being seen, so I'm performing home treatment." Matthew replied.

"Home treatment?" Sonya eyes shone as she heard this, it's exactly what she wants.

"Yes miss." Matthew replied

"Ok, how is this your patient's health now?" She asked.

"She's cured, not to brag but I'm an expert in this line, this type of issues are minor thing to me," Matthew replied

'Why does it sound like he's advertising a product,' Sonya thought, but since he could help, why not give it a try.

Matthew awaits in anticipation as Sonya was deep in her thoughts.

Seeing her raise her head and look up at him; his heartbeat quickened. If she did not agree then it's the end.

"Hum," Sonya moved closer to him, " like how much are we talking about here?" she whispered.

Matthew heaves a sigh of relief in his heart and smiled at her, "we will talk price after I examine the patient." he said.

"Really?" Sonya asked looking relieved as well.

"Yes. I have something on today, so how does tomorrow sound?" He asked.

"Great!  but there is one more thing, I don't want her to find out about this for now. So, is it possible to check her out without her knowledge?" Sonya asked

Matthew was also prepared for this. If she wants her friend to know about it, she wouldn't make the call on the street.

"Very possible, I will give you something to put in her drink then it's done." He replied

"I'm sorry but I will have to reject that. I have my ways to make her sleep. Youu just make sure you show up around six in the evening tomorrow and we will be ready." said Sonya.

Matthew wasn't expecting this turn of events but it's still okay, as long as she is sedated. "Okay then," he replied. 

"Thank you so much, you are really a godsent" she shook hands with him and they exchanged contact information just like that.

"And hum, please don't refer to her as a patient, I can't bear hearing that" Sonya said.

"As you wish," Matthew replied.

"I will forward my house address to you," she added and they shook hands again before departing.

Meanwhile Clara was still feeling touched by her friend hospitality, for the past three days now; she told her to take a week rest while she searched for another job on her behalf.

She will order takeout for her in the morning, bought  her food when coming from work in the afternoon and cook her dinner at night.

She found it unlikely, as both like ordering takeout instead of cooking, but the sincerity in her eyes when she's doing it make her accept it's really from her heart. If she tried to protest, she will scold her and tell her she deserves more than this.

"Why are they still unconscious?" Leo asked, as his butler came to report the two guards Clara pushed, conditions to him.

"I'm not sure why, but they still remained unconscious. The doctor is also confused as he claimed he did not detect anything wrong with them, but they still won't open their eyes." the butler Mick replied.

"Leonard, I will suggest you visit the hospital, you don't look good," he added looking worried.

"I'm fine, just inform me as soon as they open their eyes." Leo said.

Ever since he fired Clara, he has not been able to sleep. As soon as he closes his eyes; an image of Clara will appear and the worst part is that her pupil was pure white while her hair floats in the hair, with a scary length.

He will immediately wake up. And also, his guards has not regained consciousness since then as well. Due to the lack of sleep, he seems to be losing his mind bit by bit and has been staying at home since then.
