Krystal grew silent before smiling.
"I'm sure he wouldn't mind." She said and Justin glanced at Felix. He didn't seem to have a problem with it but he could tell that something was off between the both of them. He sighed, not wanting to get caught up in their siblings quarrel.
"Then get on!" He said and Krystal started thinking of how to get on.
She had honestly forgotten how to get on the bike. Justin saw this and rolled his eyeballs. He pulled her by the arm and asked.
"Do I need to help you?" Krystal stared into his eyes and felt like time had stopped and everything around them was stagnant.
The only thing she could feel and see were those emerald eyes fixed on her.
'What is on her mind now? She seems lost.' Justin thought.
'Why is my heart beating so fast? I feel like I'm falling in love for the second time.' Krystal thought. 'I know I like him but do I love him?' She thought and her face started heating up.
"Oi, what's wrong with your face?"
"Nothing!" She said and looked away. "Help me." She said shyly.
Though Justin wasn't used to her being shy, he couldn't help but blush as well. He helped her get on and as soon as she was on the bike, she wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in his back. She felt ashamed that he saw her face so red.
Justin still had his mind blank for a moment. Krystal was hugging him so tightly that he could feel two big lumps in his back. If his memory served right, this two big lumps in a woman were... His ears turned red.
"Hey hey, don't hug so tightly." He said trying to get her hands loose but she didn't budge. "You're hugging too tightly!" He said.
"Oh sorry!" She said and loosened her arms a bit. "Let's go."
Justin tried very hard to tolerate it all and turned on the engine. He didn't ask where she lived but just rode off.
"Do you know where I live?" Krystal asked.
"I don't need to. I'm taking you somewhere first." He said.
"Huh? Are you trying to kidnap me?" She asked but Justin could only grin.
Justin rode to the beach, surprisingly there was no one. It was just as if the whole beach was reserved or something like that.
The moonlight shone on the sea glamouring with the stars accompanying it. The view was very good to look at.
"Come, there's no one!" He said and took off his boots. Krystal did the same. The feel of the sand under her feet was cool and relaxing.
"Why'd you bring me here?" Krystal asked.
"I wanted to relax a bit and thought that you'd want to relax after everything that happened the other day." He said, staring at the horizon before turning to meet her gaze. "I'm sorry!" He apologized and she nodded.
Krystal walked so close to the sea. The sand was wet and she liked it. It reminded her of the sea on her island.
Her uncle gifted her a small island for her 16th birthday. She was indeed pampered and at the same time, was well collected. She never raised her shoulders and everyone loved her dearly.
But sometimes too much of everything was bad. She grew tired with the way they showered her with things. Her uncles and aunts loved to make everything big and flamboyant.
Someone who didn't know a thing would say they were flaunting their wealth and showing off but they just wanted the best for her and so, did too much. You could say it was their love language.
Krystal got bored with that type of life. It's still a wonder how she can manage to live comfortably in a small house, work and the rest. She never did anything like that in the palace and all this was new but she was still able to adapt quickly.
"The sea looks so beautiful, Justin." Krystal said running around and laughing.
'Justin.' Justin thought. 'My name sounds so sweet when she calls it.' He stared at her and couldn't help but feel amused. She acted so carefreely. Then he realized himself. 'What's wrong with me?'
"Come on, Justin!" Krystal beaconed on him to join the fun but he shook his head. "No fair! You brought me here to relax yet you're standing stiff like a lighthouse."
"Did you just compare me to a lighthouse?" He asked not she only shrugged and winked. "Unbelievable!" He exclaimed and just watched her hop up and down on the sand. His eyes landed on her glasses. "Will you take those off for a while?" He asked pointing at her glasses.
"My glasses? What for?"
"Just wanna take a glance at your face without the glasses. For a while, you won't be 'Miss glasses'." He said and she chuckled. She took off her glasses and he drew near.
"Why don't you take them off permanently? You look okay like this." He said, rubbing his neck. He didn't want to tell her she was pretty.
"No can do, friend. I've got a pretty big reason for wearing them." She said attempting to put them back on but he stopped her holding her by the hand.
"Then take them off just for this moment. I love your golden eyes." He said which caught Krystal's attention.
She was speechless as she didn't expect him to say such but, duh! Who wouldn't love a perfect pair of glittering and sparkling golden eyes? Especially now that the moon reflected so beautifully on them.
"Thanks, friend. I like your emerald eyes too. They remind me of..." She paused remembering something and just smiled.
"Of course. You've said that like a dozen times." He pointed out.
"You know there's one thing I haven't said to you." She leaned closer stretching her hands backward and tilted her head to the side a little. Her hair was now dangling at one side, though short, it still looked nice.
"What is it?" Justin gulped hoping he wouldn't regret what she was going to say to him.
"I like you, Justin." She finally confessed. "I like you a lot." She smiled.
