Roses Multiverse Power Unlocking System

Ruby Rose, the team leader of RWBY got unlucky when she fell. Instead of falling into the Ever-After, she hit some poor sap's soul and got their memories. Oh yeah, also she got nabbed by some God and was given a system to travel the Multiverse with. Armed with a cruddy system that she barely uses, she now travels the Multiverse to get home to her family. (Will have Yuri and will generally be slow-paced as I'm a lazy writer. Also despite system being in the name of the Novel I wont use it often) THIS STORY IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REWRITTEN

Holding a paper with the name of my new weapon, I quickly pocketed it.

'Its perfect' Was all I could think of as I stowed away my blueprints for my new weapon.

"So love, how about we play some more games?" Lena asked me as she was leaning back on her bed.

I excitedly nodded and plopped down next to her as we both prepared the games console and began playing some new videogames.

And like that Lena and I spent our week in peace. Lena and I would just live normally, train, keep updated on the Null Sector issue, and spend time with other Overwatch members like Winston who had grown on me.

I finally got a phone custom built by Winston. As such his relations with me improved drastically. It took some time to set up my phone but now I have it set, I even have Reinne's contact in it. Other than that Lena and I would occasionally get up to some shenanigans as we grew closer throughout the week.

'Finally! Torbjorn and I can get started!' I excitedly thought as I looked at the aura to energy converter that I had Winston make, based on the one in my scroll. I told him it was a battery of some sorts to keep the secret of my aura hidden, so now I can actually start building my new weapon.

Pocketing the phone sized aura converter I merrily made my way to Torbjorns forge. Walking down long hall ways, and waving hello to random people I made my way to his forge room. His forge was in simple words, awesome!

'Oh my gosh this is so much cooler than any forge I have seen before.' I thought as I entered Torbjorns forge and was met with a blast of heat. The room itself was mostly metal and stone. In the center was a futuristic furnace as anvils and power hammers lased the rooms walls.

On the sides of the rooms were armament tables, where you fit together whatever you forged. The forge was a basic blast furnace, but what made it awesome was my knowledge of how expensive everything was. A blast furnace with many, many mods to it. Crafting tables which even had small robot arms for very delicate additions to whatever you built. Multiple crates of different metals and hybrid metals, and even a blue prints board!

Yes the blue prints board wasn't that cool, but everything else was because of how modded everything was! Fangirling intensely I almost didn't notice the small man approach me.

"Ruby, I guess you are here because you have the blueprints done?" Torbjorn asked me as he had his well known frown on his face that was there almost consistently.

'Can't this guy ever be happy...' I thought as I ignored his frown and smiled. Reaching into a pocket on my belt, I pulled out and unfolded my blueprints. Motioning for Torbjorn to follow me, we both made our way to a blueprints table and rolled out the blueprints.

Torbjorn glanced at all the blueprints with a critical eye as I was smirking. His frown deepening slightly as he looked at my math page, he turned to me and questioned me.

"How are you going to charge the other half of it? There is no way one Omnic Z32 Core can power something like this alone." Torbjorn said in a dumbfounded tone.

My smirked turned into a big grin as I pulled out the Aura Converter from my back pocket. The thing about the Aura Converter, is that its like a massive battery. I will constantly charge it with little bits of my aura, which will store up inside, and then be turned into electricity to power my Scythe.

I could power the Scythe with this converter alone, but if I did that I would be running out of aura every day, and trust me being low on aura sucks.

Shaking myself out of my inner thoughts I handed the converter to Torbjorn and another piece of paper that explained how it worked. The paper had everything on it except where this other energy source is gathered from, but I will leave that up to Torbjorns imagination to figure out.

Torbjorn grabbing the paper and smallish converter, eyed it up and then read the paper. Reading it a couple of times he nodded and gave a very rare compliment. "Good job Ruby, this will be a masterpiece if I have ever seen one."

Inwardly happy at a master blacksmiths praise I nodded and looked back at my Scythe blueprints and hyped myself up to the arduous task at hand. Sadly I couldn't get started yet as Torbjorn and I needed to decide the metal used.

Taking some time to decide a metal to use for it, I chose something durable so the Scythe wouldn't break. I wouldn't need it to be too flexible because the Scythe would be hard light generated, so instead I chose a hybrid metal. The metal was a bright silver colored metal that according to Torbjorn was "Supernaturally strong, but breaks like fine china if bent too much.".

There were some more downsides to this metal, such as cost, which was well.... Very expensive. Other than that another issue was that it didn't conduct electricity at all, and was also not magnetic. These might sound good, but for a high tech Gauntlet Scythe that was pretty bad. Luckily in secret I tested if it conducted aura, and it conducted it perfectly, even better than Crescent Rose.

"Ruby, let's get started. I will handle the metal as you have no experience with it, you handle the technology and the conductive materials. Also prepare the mechashift parts." Torbjorn said to me as he began to heat the forge up.

I put on a serious face and got lost in my job. Preparing a gear or two here and there, some cables, and everything else I was ready. Torbjorn was already hammering away at the metal and making it into a polearm shape.

Forming the spike, and gun area with fine artisanship skills he soon heat treated it. Repeating the process for other parts he soon finished and walked over to me and handed me the parts.

"Rest up to you, I will watch." Torbjorn briskly said as he dropped the parts onto my table. I nodded seriously and began my job.

My job was surprisingly more difficult than you would think. I had to make sure the part's didn't break, and fit perfectly inside the weapon. Using tools for fine work, I carved out areas to put wires in, and prepared the mechashift parts.

Time flew by as I was immersed in my work. So immersed hours passed as I did the fine details of my Scythe. Mechashift, wiring, adding the Aura Converter, making small decorations for the Scythe, and even decorative carvings as I added the grips to the weapon.

Drilling a sniper threading in the barrel I finished the Scythe up by coloring it and polishing it. 'Oh my gosh its beautiful!' I happily thought as I held my new weapon in my hands.

Torbjorn still there said "Like I said, a masterpiece! Now test it out." as he stood behind me.

"Eeep!" Ungracefully I eeped as I completely forgot that Torbjorn was there. Dropping my new weapon I tried to catch it but in the process somehow I fell over.

Pouting slightly I picked up my new weapon and rubbed my bottom. Torbjorn laughed away and for once had an actual smile on his face. His laughs echoed through the forge as he patted my shoulder.

"Hahaha! Sorry, sorry I just never expected a gear head like you would get so scared!" Torbjorn laughed out as I glared at him.

Shaking my head my pout disappeared as I held out my new weapon. Smirking slightly as Torbjorn got serious and stopped laughing, I flicked the switch to turn on my weapon.

Vbmm!

Almost like the sound of a lightsaber, but crisper, a gleam appeared. Red light flashed outwards into a shape of a Scythe. Both ends of my Scythe turned on successfully and could be proven by the eerily red glow that hazed around my weapon.

'Yup, it works! Hardlight on, mechashift function hasn't malfunctioned yet.' I checked off in my head as I held my almost weightless weapon. The crisp sound of my weapon sounded throughout the room as I gave it a practice swing.

Swinging roughly I underestimated my strength and caused the Scythe to cut through the floor. Eyes opening widely as I stared at the gash of cut and melted stone on the floor I looked back to my Scythe.

"Ohmygosh! I am sorry I didn't know swinging it would be so easy! It is just so light and I was really excited and-" Torbjorn cut off my apologize with a frown on his face and said.

"Enough, I get it. I'm not mad it just proves how powerful your new weapon is, just don't do it again." Torbjorn said as he praised my new weapon.

Nodding dumbly I looked back to my new red Scythe blade and thought 'Gotta be extra careful with this.' I thought as I prepared to test the mechashift function of the weapon.

Pushing a hidden button on the handle of the gun that rested near my thumb, the weapon turned off for a brief moment and transformed. At a lightning speed, the weapon transformed into a large caliber hand gun.

Smiling as I noticed there were no issues, I switched it on again and a scythe blade appeared. Holding the other side of the handle in a reverse grip, I had what now appeared to be a full arm gauntlet.

Doing a practice jab or two, and happily noticing that it didn't catch on anything I smiled. 'Yes I can't believe I got it to work first try!'

Turning off the blade I put on its safety's, and stored it on my belt near my right pocket. Looking towards Torbjorn I saw that he was nearly just as excited as I was until he noticed me staring.

Coughing slightly Torbjorn put on a serious face and praised my work. "A truly beautiful, yet dangerous thing you made. Just like a rose. Only thing it's missing now is a name."

Grinning as I nearly forgot something, I grabbed a etching tool and put my crafters mark on it. Putting a small rose on the hilt of the weapon, I added the name of the weapon.

Gleaming Rose was proudly etched onto my new Gauntlet Scythe combo. Handing it to Torbjorn I gave him the etching tool so he could add his makers mark as well.

Torbjorn doing exactly that etched his makers mark onto the weapon. Two gears stood next to my signature rose emblem. Nodding to himself he handed the weapon back to me and said in a low voice "She's perfect, just don't rough her up too much after all she is a delicate rose."

Smiling slightly I responded with a chuckle and said "Heh, don't worry I will take great care of her. She will serve me greatly in the futures to come."

Torbjorn smirked slightly and walked away to clean up the rest of the forge. Seeing as we were done, I pocketed my blueprints and hung Gleaming Rose on my belt. Ever so slightly I poured aura into Gleaming Rose, so it would start storing my aura and charge my Scythe.

Double checking the room to make sure I had everything I made my way to the door and shouted "Thank you again Torbjorn! If you ever need my help with something call me! I will make sure to visit often also!" and quickly exited the room as I saw Torbjorn wave me off.

With a skip in my step I made my way towards my room to show Lena and anyone else who was there my brand new weapon.

A little shorter tonight, but next chapter will be out some time tommorow or the next day. The weapon is pretty cool, almost like Ozpins where it can store energy. With Ruby/Masons new weapon finished, the first combat arc will be starting soon!

<<Null Sector Arc>>

Be prepared for some more action. Anyways hope you enjoyed this chapter, feel free to leave a review as im pretty close to getting rated! Cya soon with a new chapter.
