Chapter Fourteen

"I don't get this!" Arthur violently threw his pen down and glared at the assignment the King had given since there was no Royal Tutor. I clicked my tongue before getting off the incredibly comfy couch and walked over to him. He was working on an economy assignment, he had to figure out correlations to why we sold things but bought others, and if there was something that could be improved for the better of the country and why. He had done the correlations but was stuck with the improvement.

"Alright, what's the first you do to improve conditions and the economy?" I look at him and watch his frustrated expression

"You get better jobs, food and houses. Illness needs to go down too." He looked at me and I sighed.

"How do you prevent illness?"

"You keep clean and eat good food. Clean... Soap?" I nodded and he thought for a moment.

"Soap is expensive here and rare... is there anyway we can make it cheaper or easier to aquire?" He eyes me and I finally crack a smile. I didn't have to lead him far to get him somewhere, he was naturally highly intelligent, his teacher had simply been incompetent. He turns his gaze from me and searches the documents he has on the table. The door creaked and then opened and His Majesty walked through the door.

"Leading him Rose?" He was listening in and I smiled wryly.

"He only needed a push. I gave him multiple ideas to stimulate the economy. I saw about ten different ways to increase revenue." I smile as he studies me before turning to his son.

"Do you have an idea of how to make money off it?"

"Yes. The Jule territory as been undergoing monetary problems because wheat doesn't grow well. However the products needed for soap can be harvested within this territory. I think it would be a waste if this doesn't change. If we can secure soap from there we will truly benefit as a whole." And his Majesty clapped.

"Well done! With bear minimal prodding too. Good, good."

"What would you price each bar at?" I ask him from against the wall I had taken to leaning against. They stared at me before the prince replied.

"Same, Or is that a bad idea?" I tisked at him before responding.

"Once you get them going drop the price so anyone can buy it. You will still turn a profit, but if anyone can afford it everyone who can will buy it. Health is important to there livelihoods, and your image as well as you money will rise." I explain carefully, the King looks like a light came on while the prince looked confused.

"Why Rose? I understand everyone wanting it but why drop the price?" I sighed heavily before explaining.

"It was so high because of rarity and difficulty to get it places. Plus you'll make it up in total sales anyways, it does you know good if you make it but cannot sell it." He nodded at that and I quietly slipped out as they started talking about implementing this idea, and how to convince the territory it would be worth it.

So Rose is already influencing the kingdom. -wipes away tear- My girls growing up.
