Chapter 32

Miranda went to her room and Allenda followed her, she doesn't know why her sister was all grumpy since she invited rose to have dinner with them.

"Why would you invite her for dinner, with us?" she asked aloud and sounded disgusted she was repulsive towards the lady.

"I invited her, not you, so you should stop your unnecessary complaints" Allenda said in defence of Rose.

"She is really beautiful" Allenda said speaking of Rose as she remembered her beautiful face when she smiled.

"Why would brother marry her?" Miranda asked out of nowhere, Allenda was taken aback by the sudden question, what does she mean by that?

"Why, did you want to marry brother?" Allenda asked and she saw Miranda's hurt expression.

"Sister, why don't you just leave him alone, since he is married you should look for someone else instead" Allenda said.

"If I can't have Nathan, no one else would" she suddenly blurted out.

"Oh come on, stop with your infatuation!" Allenda yelled she was tired of what her sister was doing.

"Like who falls in love with their brother or sister that is totally ridiculous." Allenda said and scoffed.

"If no one has done that, I would be the first" Miranda said nonchalantly as she fondled with her hair.

"For goodness sake, he is your BROTHER" Allenda said.

"Yeah, I know but we do not come from the same mother" she said, that doesn't mean they should not love each other and get married.

"But from the same father, doesn't that makes you his sister" Allenda said trying to make sense out of everything.

"What if the King finds out about it well he should have known by now and still kept quiet, if you get him angry one day with this nonsense that you are blurting out, say goodbye to your world" she said.

Allenda said but she knew her sister was as stubborn as Nathan. They do things as they wished, She doesn't know where they both got their traits from.

"Why don't we try something fun Allenda, let's get Nathan to hate her then he would finally see the truth and come to me" she said.

"Oh no, I won't, I can't spoil somebody's marriage and you shouldn't do that also" Allenda said and Miranda hissed at the word 'marriage' that she heard, Nathan belonged to her and no one else.

"Brother can do whatever he likes and father doesn't complain, so why can't I" she said.

"Brother does something reasonable unlike you, you are clearly going crazy" Allenda said.

"I am going to turn them against each other and when I succeed I would have Nathan" Miranda said.

"That won't happen, brother loves her a lot, he even went as far as to disobey father to get her, do you think he is going to let her go that easily?. In your dreams" Allenda said as she scoffed at her sister wishful thinking.

"He doesn't love her, he only wants something from her that was why he married her, don't you reason?, brother is a bad demon and he kills human, why would he fall in love with one if he doesn't have anything to gain. Brother does something that he gains from" Miranda said.

"Why would you think like that?, he loves her, can't you see it in his eyes!!" Allenda yelled.

"I can't see anything, to prove my theory, why don't we conduct a simple test for them and see who wins and who lose" Miranda replied.

"I am not scheming against her with you, you should do nothing to her" Allenda said.

"Oh, you really want to support an outsider instead of your sister?" she asked in a demanding tone as her eyes were changing and ears were pointy. Allenda gulped as she saw it. Allenda shook her head at her question and Miranda smirked and turned back to normal.

"We would start with a small plan and see how genuine their love is" she said and smiled devishlly while Allenda just shook her head as she saw Miranda, she knew that her sister was not helping them, she wanted to break them apart. she was ruining herself. Allenda wished to knock some sense into that empty brains of hers but she couldn't.

It was time for dinner already so, I quickly dressed up after I had cleaned myself with the help of his maids.

"Aren't you going to eat with me?" Nathan asked as he pouted his lip. I leaned forward to kiss his pouted lips as I chuckled, he was way too cute that way.

"No I am going to eat with your sisters, just this night please?" I begged him.

"So you prefer eating with them to me?" he asked as he raised his eyebrows. The demon that I know had arrived not my cute husband who pouted his lips now. He really wanted to put me in a difficult situation where I would have to choose.

"I am not saying that, okay I promise you a kiss once I am back" I said at least a kiss would be enough to compensate for not being with him.

"Fine, fine, go, I don't want to miss you" he said and I knew he was teasing me so I quickly kissed his lips and hurried away. Nathan sighed as he watched his wife's back as she left. He hopes everyday would be like this but that wasn't going to happen.

...

"Hey Rose, you are here." Allenda beamed as she welcomed me to join them. I saw Miranda as she glared at me with full hate. I dared not talk so I kept quiet and smiled instead.

I sat next to Miranda, I wanted to talk to her, to ask her why she was behaving like this but I couldn't. Allenda served me food on my plate which I collected from her and we started eating. When we finished the food Allenda began to talk, I really liked her she says whatever she wants, she was unlike her sister who was quiet and not talking to me.

"Rose, when you first met our brother, what kind of impression did you have on him that time?" she asked me and I looked at her then Miranda, if it was okay to say it. Anyways, it doesn't matter anymore, I loved him now, didn't I? and that is all that matters.

"Bad" I answered shortly and she didn't look so surprised.

"Did you like him at first sight or you just started developing feelings for him?" she asked, why do I feel like they were interrogating me on my love affair, do they need to know about this?.
