Ranks and Changes

3rd {pov}

In one of the most popular restaurant, an interesting conversation was taking place between two adventurers.

"Did you hear?"

"Mm,about what?"

"The new change in hierarchy."

"Ooh that, of course I did, infact even if I didn't hear I think it'll be quite obvious with new rules and change."

"yeah that's true, but who do you think it is? The head, the one at the top."

"I don't know? But whoever it is, honestly is scary, swooping in and laying waste to the Cinq and it armies."

"It is scary....truly deserving of the name Devil.."

"Wonder what it means?"

"Mmm...D evil."

"Maybe."

The conversation continues between the two adventurers, at the same time, something similar was taking place, a similar conversation revolving around The Devil, his newly established underground gang, the new changes and finally the strength behind.

The change that took place in the underground was swift and precise.

The moment Azel established his rule the first thing he did was to cement his rule as the main head and Shinra has his right hand.

Following that he changed the buildings, he established something akin to a sect and even brought the black market to the surface although it now called the "Forsaken Auction."

Another thing to note was the fact that Azel potions manage to become one of the main source of income for the whole group, despite being limited in resources.

After making a quarters the next thing he did was make the "carrot."

Being who he was Azel has quite a plethora of technique in his head{some he can't access.}

So he had Vena transcribe some of them and made it a reward....and lastly he did it..

He made a board of missions and the mission granted you credits, this credit can be further used to purchase techniques.

The credit can be used to purchase techniques or arts...or be transferred has Repu points....

Repu points a form of credit that shook the organisation, completing missions granted you credit and repu point, the better your mission clearance the higher your Repu points and the higher your Repu points, the faster you climb the ranks granting you access to more secrets and arts.

The ranks are as follow:

Squire- the lowest

Mianor- a bit higher

Enforcer- the point most are currently

{Shadow foot-{to be governed in the future by Shinra.}

Nightblade.

Wraith.

Spectre.

Phantasm.

Staff.}

The rest following this haven't been established due to lack of specific person to head the post.

And finally sovereign the post reserved for Azel.

Speaking of Azel he was upside down?

"Explain this to me am lost?"

Shinra asked with a pen in his mouth.

"How are you lost?" Azel replied in exasperation.

"You know this an that and more of this."

"So you don't get shit."

Azel said his mouth curved to the side.

"Yeah." Shinra said whilst hiding his head in shame.

"Hahaha, sounds like you." Azel removing his legs and dismounting the fixed bar, proceeding to land on his feet.

His upper body was soaked with sweat and his abs were glistening in the lightz grabbing a bottle and a towel, he moved to a sofa.

"So shoot, what do I have to explain."

"Huh? First of all the power imbalance."Shinra said.

"That? That quite simple."

"Really? Then why don't I get it." He said in taunt.

"Cause you don't pay attention...so here's how it goes, there's something called mana."

"I know that much." Shinra said Interrupting Azel.

"Shut it." Azel shushed him.

"As I was saying there your mana level which his at time proportionate to your mana output, so it goes the higher your mana the higher your danger level, this applies to both caster and warriors, cause the more mana you have, the more spells or art you can use."

"Yes?" Shinra said urging Azel to continue.

"So you see all this is nice and well but it doesn't apply to US, you see most families or power houses like us, have bloodlines that allow us to access unique abilities, most of which doesn't use mana." Azel calmly explained.

"Mmmmm."

"You see my mana level is at Dmitrix, meaning if I was normal my combat rank should be about-"

"F-D." Answered Shinra understanding enough to answer the question.

"Exactly but am not, the unique abilities caused a unique reaction in us causing our body and reactions plus Battle IQ to be higher, despite being a Dmitrix I can take down a Crovon."

"Mmm, will it remain like this forever." Shinra asked with genuine curiosity and gleaming eyes of knowledge.

"No, the moment, the limits are broken everyone kinda competes on the same line."

"Oh, even with us?" He asked with a hint of pride.

"No? You see after this, if we pass our Odyssey, we are granted the chance to further awaken our dominant racial traits, that's why high level non-humans are well respected."

"Wait if we get all this...then why do the humans still hold more land, shouldn't we be the head if that he case?" Shinra said out loud genuinely wondering how the humans were still in power if that be the case.

Drawing closer to Shinra, Azel addressed him in quite a serious tone.

"Always remember this, no matter how dark and unjust things may seem, balance will always find it way... Nature isn't prejudice nor impartial... While the high non human have bloodline awakening, the high humans like the royals awaken innate abilities or connections."

"Like Arthur?"

"Yes, like him, so we good, that all right?"

Azel said while packing up seemingly prepare to leave that surrounding.

"What the ranks and combat level."

Shinra asked.

"Really?" Azel astonished by the fact Shin doesn't know that, in fact he was starting to feel Shin was just joking with him.

"What I don't know it."

"Howww? We were literally taught when we were young."

"Yeah but most of the time we were bunking class." Shinra corrected.

"Hold on, don't tell me you didn't read?"

"You...guys read?"

"Yesss" Azel screamed while throwing his arms up clearly done with Shinra, "I mean why won't you?"

"I didn't." He said while pointing to himself.

Taking a deep sigh, Azel gestured towards the paper on the table.

"The ranks are written there and some basics books you can read."

"Ohz thanks."

Nodding his head to acknowledge the gratitude Azel made his way towards the door.

"Also, I want a summary of those books on my desk tomorrow."

He said dropping a bomb and leaving the pent garden.

"Ehn?"

Shinra made a low grumble towards Azel clearly dissatisfied by the assignment.

He picked up the papers hoping the books ain't much.
