Chapter 2: First mission completion and reward

Brandon had gone to his bedroom around 9 in the evening and decided he would start to browse the internet like he usually does. While he was browsing through recent news he noticed that it seemed like he had returned to the past, only he was still 17 years old. Events seemed to have occurred at a later date than previously. An example of this would be the attacks on world trade center which had originally occurred on September 11, 2001, Instead it now occurred in 2011. Currently the year is 2014, just 3 years after the attacks on the world trade center. Having knowledge about what will occur in the future when it comes to certain events and stocks he decided to take full advantage of that by investing in companies he knew would bring him great profits in the future. He decided that first thing in the morning he would go to the nearest stock broker and register to purchase stocks. Around 10 in the evening he decided he would go to bed for the night.

When Brandon woke up the next morning it was already 8 in the morning. The system also showed that the mission was completed.

Brandon was surprised by the reward for the mission completion and checked the system interface again.

Brandon was curious about how to earn the EXP needed to level up so he asked the system.

{To gain EXP and increase the hosts level, the host must spend money in a way that the system considers constructive to building more wealth and power. Things like purchasing real-estate, starting a business, or investing in the stock market are great examples of this.}

Brandon was glad to hear that any money he spent in a way that could generate more income would be considered as EXP. After having breakfast he immediately went to the nearest stock broker and registered to start purchasing stocks. He decided he would start with purchasing stocks in Amazon, Microsoft, Apple and Alphabet. Amazon would eventually rise to become one of the worlds top retailers, Microsoft and Apple would be one of the worlds top technology companies and Alphabet was also included in the Technology industry as they owned YouTube and Google.

He decided to take $1300 and invest it equally into each of these companies, meaning he invested $325 in each of these companies. He also decided he would start to invest a majority of any income he earned into stocks that would become global leaders in the stock market in the future. He also knew that he had a few years before some of the larger opportunities such as Tesla, Bitcoin and dogecoin would present themselves. He knew Bitcoin would be available in another 5 years, while Tesla in 6 years. Dogecoin on the other hand would take another 9 years to be released. Still, he wasn't in any hurry to purchase these as he knew he would be able to make millions, if not more before these were released to the public for purchase.

After purchasing the stocks he could, he decided to return home and exercise because he was going to be going into the Navy in August. He had enlisted while he was still in high school, which is why he had broken up with his girlfriend at the time, he didn't want to be in a long distance relationship and wasn't sure when he would be able to return home after he left for basic training.

After his exercise he took a shower and it was time for lunch, so he had a quick meal before he had to go to the Navy recruitment office. He was required to go to the office once a week to learn basic information such as Naval ranks, the phonetic alphabet, and general naval knowledge. His recruiter said these would help him when he arrived at basic training as he wouldn't have to study quite as much to pass all of the tests once he was there.

After the meeting in the recruitment office it was already time for dinner. After dinner he went to work on a video game he had been trying to create before arriving on this earth. He had played an old game from 2001 again recently and decided he wanted to try to recreate the way it used to be before the original developers ruined the game. Unfortunately when he woke up on this earth all of his coding had been erased.

Brandon had always been interested in coding as well as medicine. Both his parents worked in the medical field, while his uncle who he was close to was a software developer. These are what first got him interested in these areas. He didn't ever really want to combine them though.
