He slept for two hours and woke up at 6:00pm, feeling a little famished, he opened his chest sized refrigerator and took out a bottle of strawberry flavoured yogurt.
Taking a sip, he sat down and unlocked his phone.
He began to think " if I walk at least twenty thousand step per day, I should be able to make 200 yuan, then in five days, he should be able to level up thousand mile function.According to Baidu, that is 16 kilometers or roughly 3 hours 20 minutes walk per day.
After planning his short term goal, he went to his wardrobe, took out his fake but decent blue red Christian Dior t-shirt, he wore it pairing it with his 2019 Nike sport shoe and a ripped black denim jean
Looking at himself in front of the mirror, he picked up his phone, clicked the game icon and started playing call of duty. He played for thirty minutes to pass the time. At exactly 6:30pm he went out of his apartment and hailed a Taxi.
Enjoying the taxi ride, he continued playing his game. Twenty five minutes later, he arrived at the venue, he alighted from the taxi paid the taxi fare and entered the restaurant. Heavens pavilion was built in Blue lotus city about two years back, it is one of the business subsidiaries of MSG group of companies( A giant hegemony in china's food and drink industry. it is a household name with businesses and companies in almost every aspects of life in china [fictional china]). Heavens pavilion is a fast rising restaurant with a five star Michelin rating, it also has 7 star rated hotels throughout Blue lotus city. The decor was exquisitely decorated to portray a rich sense of wealth and at the same time paints a minimalistic atmosphere.
Jiang chen entered and approached a waiter, giving the waiter the necessary information, he was directed to a reserved private booth where he found his schoolmates already present.
He found a seat and sat down, a few minutes later Zhao arrived and greeted everybody in the room and then sat down beside Jiang Chen.
He hugged Jiang Chen excitedly and then turned to socialize with his friends and other students present in the room.
A waiter entered into the booth bringing with him a trolley loaded with different brands of expensive alcoholic drinks, setting the table, the waiter exited the booth.
Zhao Yi buddies hollered as everyone picked his or her own brand of alcohol.
Zhao Yi stood up, opened a bottle of 2005 Lafitte that costs 7200 yuan a bottle and toasted everyone.Ten minutes later, the food was wheeled into the booth.
Looking at the perfectly roasted king crab feast, Jiang chen mouth watered endlessly, gulping down his saliva, he picked up a crab leg, dipped it in the spicy sauce and ate it.
The sweet taste of roasted crab and as well as the spiciness of the hot sauce exploded in his mouth.
The crab, hot spicy sauce and mouthful of alcohol combined perfectly in his mouth to form a rich and indescribable taste, it was probably the most tasty and expensive food Jiang chen had ever tasted.
Enjoying his meal, he looked up and saw the same intoxicated look on everyone's face, it is not every day one enjoys a feast like this.
The party went on till 11:00pm, the once organized party became rowdy and rough, with passed out people smelling of alcohol.
The party came to a stop at 11:00pm, every one stumbled out supporting other unsteadily as they reeked of alcohol. Jiang chen bid Zhao Yi and the rest of the students goodbye and then hailed a taxi, he was so drunk that he didn't know how he reached home, he stumbled up the staircase, creating a noisy racket in the process.
He opened his door, stumbled into his room and crashed heavily on the bed. he dozed off immediately, a sweet smile on his face as Hypnos[1]and Morpheus[2] claimed him.

TIME SKIP : 6 HOURS LATER
Jiang chen woked up with a head splitting headache, he wiped drool off his face as he looked out through the window. Sunshine spilled brightly into his room enveloping it in sharp and glaring glow.
Muttering a curse, Jiang chen stood up from the bed, opened his bedside drawer and fished out a bottle of aspirin. Taking a pill, he went over to the stove to prepare a cup of headache warding tea.
With a cup of tea in his hand , he accessed the system interface and then told the system to sign in.
Seeing what the daily sign in was, Jiang chen leaped up in shock, it took a minutes for it to sinks before he became exceedingly excited.
He muttered " fu**k" then "shit" as looked at the reward displayed on the system's screen.
