Change Of Plans

Lori, Julia and professor Nina were sitting around the ashes of fire. They had just finished roasting the meat, and were waiting for Luke to return.

Julia looked at her mother and then professor Nina before releasing a sigh. She very much wanted to start eating, but because they were waiting for him, she could not bring herself to eat. Thus, she was suffering from hunger's torture.

Noticing the expression on her face, Lori gently smiled at her, "You can go ahead and eat. There is no need to wait with us."

"Yeah, go ahead." Professor Nina also said.

Julia looked at the perfectly roasted meat in front of her and gulped, before shaking her head.

"I'll also…" Just as she started speaking,

Rustle!

The grass and branches blocking the cave entrance were shifted. The trio went on full alert, and immediately shot to their feet, with their weapons in their hand, ready to attack.
