Luqing's Fury

Qiuyue gracefully deflected Luqing's furious swipes with her Guandao.

Luqing strafed to the side as Qiuyue was bombarded by ice swords, its ruthlessness and speed increased by the slicing winds carrying them.

Spinning her Guandao with immense speed that it turned into a solid wall, Qiuyue blocked the projectiles coming her way, but the combined strength of both techniques allowed a blade to get past through, grazing Qiuyue's arm.

Qiuyue stared at her wound. What should have been a reminder of her mortality, served only to excite the silver haired woman further. Her lips twist into a wicked arc.

What do you know, when combined, Earth realm cultivators can put up a fight. Then it's time for someone born into the high realm of Heaven to show how they do things.

Qiuyue's power exploded as she brought about half of her cultivation, resulting in the emanation of an icy blizzard coming from the silver haired woman.

Xiao gulped as she braved the cold. She had never felt ice to be this hostile before. Its quality and hostility were so high that it threatened to swallow Xiao's own ice simply by being in its presence.

The blizzard ceased to reveal Qiuyue with an armor of ice, sprouting cryo wings and the head of a phoenix in her right shoulder.

"Count yourselves lucky, My majestic [Cryo Phoenix Armor] will be the last thing you will see before you perish." Qiuyue gripped her Guandao, her ice wings unfurled, carrying her flew towards Yanmei with incredible speed.

Yanmei screamed in agony as one of her tails that she used to block was pierced by the thrust of Qiuyue's guandao.

"Yanmei!" Xiao quickly intervened only to be slapped away by Qiuyue's humongous wings before she could even get the chance to help her lover.

Luqing was furious and ready to rain her claws upon Qiuyue for daring to hurt both of her mates in her presence. But during her charge, Qiuyue spoke…

"You are quite troublesome, I'll give you a playmate while I take care of these two."

Qiuyue's platemail separated, revealing them to be talons. The phoenix head in her right head gave a majestic squeal, heralding it coming alive.

From her back, the phoenix separated into its own being sharing Qiuyue's consciousness. The regal phoenix made out of ice hovered as if it was a spirit beast. With one flap, the phoenix rained down upon Luqing a barrage of ice swords coming from its wings.

Luqing was forced to evade backwards, farther and farther to her lovers needing her aid.

Now that Luqing was occupied, Qiuyue can quickly take care of the pest.

It was only natural to take care of the weaker when fighting a group. That's why Qiuyue was going to kill Yanmei first. Xiao next and then the pesky cat.

Mercilessly, Qiuyue slashed the defending Yanmei all over. Her hard as steel tail was now bleeding profusely, tainting their magnificence with wounds and blood.

Too exhausted and wounded to even defend, Yanmei's guard dropped.

Qiuyue scoffed, "If you had reached 9 tails you might have stood a chance, but your cultivation journey ends here."

Qiuyue's spear aimed for Yanmei's gut, a wound that should keep her alive but incapacitated to witness the death of the other two.

Right before Yanmei was hit by the Guandao's thrust. She was pushed aside by Xiao who erected 5 layers of ice wall, only for Qiuyue's monstrous strength to barrel through them and stab Xiao in her stomach.

Xiao fell from her knees while clutching her stomach, preventing her blood and guts from spilling over.

The bladed tip of Qiuyue's polearm made Xiao look up and into Qiuyue's eyes filled with pity, "Tsk tsk. Oh, Xiao. You should have waited for your turn."

The cryo phoenix dove, her wings were akin to gigantic blades that could cleanly slice a person's torso.

Luqing locked her nails against the phoenix's wing, only for the bird to rise upwards and push Luqing backwards. The phoenix once again rained another set of ice swords down on Luqing, forcing her to back away.

If the battle raged on, the lives of her two lovers would be in danger!

But it wasn't like she can simply ignore the stupid ice bird, Luqing knew she would he cut in half or would be pierced by hundreds of ice swords the moment she does so.

Luqing peaked at what was happening with Xiao and Yanmei, only for Luqing to gasp as she witnessed Xiao getting stabbed.

This can't be, she's not going to let the past repeat itself and lose another lover to them!

Luqing's heart was filled with nothing but rage. Shangying's orders were to never break their limiters until they arrived at Hell Nation. But consequences be damned, Luqing MUST save both Xiao and Yanmei, or else why was she even cultivating, amassing power, if she can't save those close to her?

Looking like an inconspicuous earing, Luqing snapped the limiter in her cat ear.

The Cryo Phoenix was about to swoop down but it was blown away by a massive release of violet qi, a pillar of power released by Luqing's hidden cultivation level.

The pillar subsided to reveal a colossal panther, a cat whose visage was akin to being a denizen from hell that can flatten a human with its paws, hence its spirit beast name [Hellcat.]

The Hellcat vanished in the blink of an eye, appearing right above the bird, sinking its fangs into its ice wings.

The Cryo Phoenix crash landed into the ground, its hostile passenger intent on pinning it on the soil.

The Hellcat held the Phoenix's neck by its paws while it tore off its wings with her powerful jaws.

Qiuyue cried out in agony as a piece of her consciousness felt the dismemberment.

Witnessing the massive spirit beast to be on the same realm as her stoked Qiuyue.

"Who knew a fellow 'Transcendent Immortal' hid here in the mortal realm! I would ask for you to accompany me to the Heavenly Court but I think that would be an impossibility seeing how much you're baring your killing intent right now!"
