"EHHH?" Damien's jaw slacked as he was shocked hearing those words coming from her mouth.
He wondered whether he misheard because he couldn't understand why Valentina would suddenly suggest something like that.
Damien cleared his throat and said, "Valentina, you are just a little girl now. We can't sleep like that."
Valentina's lips quivered, and her eyes became moist as if she was going to cry any moment.
She said in a shaky voice, "Is it because...you don't want t-to be close to me?"
Damien hugged her and said in a gentle tone, "Of course not. What makes you think that sleeping together without clothes is the only way to be closer to someone else?"
Damien wondered what made her suddenly feel that he didn't want to be closer to her.
