Back in Hogwarts

Soon the day came to leave for Hogwarts and Bella drove him to King's Cross as Tim had to work. Giving her a hug, she reminded him to write to her which he promised he would. Art soon saw Harry standing there, panicking with his trunk and owl.

Harry saw Artland and his almost cried in joy. "Artland, where is platform 9 ¾?" he asked, looked at the signs above his head.

"Magic, remember Harry?" Art said, motioning him to follow. Art gave Harry a sly smile before disappearing into the pillar.

Harry gave a stunned expression as he checked the otherside of the pillar to see where Art went. Just when he was building up the nerves to go through the pillar he heard someone say, "Filled with Muggles like always."

Turning around he saw the red headed Weasley family.

Art stood and waited for Harry but was starting to get worried for him. Just when he was about to go back and get him, Fred and George appeared.

"Art!" they said loudly, giving him a hug.

"Fred. George. What kind of trouble to you cause this summer?" Art laughed, seeing his mischevious friends.

"None of course." Fred said.

"Mom thinks we are angels with our marks." George added.

"But of course we have you to thank for that, Art."

Art shook his head, "You are both talented and have the skills. I only helped apply yourself a little." he said, patting the twins shoulders.

"That might be all true but mom will still try and adopt you if she sees you." Fred gave an exasperated look.

"All summer she went on about you, 'Well disciplined boy with great talent but of course the family he comes from is respected in the wizard world. If only you two could learn some things from him.'" George said mimicking his mother's voice.

"Did you say something George?" a stern voice came from behind him. A plumpy woman with red hair and a motherly face was standing their glaring at George.

"We just ah-"

"Talking to Art-"

"Nothing worth repeating."

The twins stuttered, talking back and forth. Art almost laughed at his brave friends cowering at there mother. Art saw Harry standing behind Mrs. Weasley waving at Art.

"I see you met the Weasleys." he smiled at Harry.

"You know him Art?" Fred asked.

"Yes of course. You do to, this is Harry Potter."

The Weasley's eye went wide and made there way up to his forehead, making Harry uncomfortable.

"All right no need to gawk. Let's board the train before it leaves." Art said, pushing Harry away from the Weasleys and onto the train. "It was a pleasure of seeing you again Mrs. Weasley."

"You as well Artland. Please take care of Fred and George again this year, I know they can be a handful." she asked, giving Fred and George a glare.

George and Fred sulked and walked past Artland, muttering, "If she only knew…"

"Of course Mrs. Wealsey."

"My youngest son is also joining Hogwarts this year. Please tell Fred and George not to be to mean." Mrs. Weasly said, pushing forward a small gangly kid with freckles.

Art promised her and boarded the train, Fred and George already saved him a compartment. Cedric soon joined them and they discussed their summers. Fred and George said they caused mass confusing at home thanks to their animagus forms, tormenting Percy to no end. Cedric and Art gave the twins a look which they defended themselves saying Percy wouldn't shut up about becoming a Prefect. Cedric said his summer was peaceful, although he found it difficult to hide his animagus from his dad. When Art told him what he did this summer they all were shocked and asked him many questions.

Soon they were interrupted by someone knocking on the door. Unlocking the door and opening it they saw a small bushy haired girl with large front teeth. She was definitely a first year as they haven't seen her before.

"Hello. Have you seen a toad around?" she asked, not intimidated that they were older students.

Fred was about to tell her to scram but Art took out his wand and said, "Accio toad."

A few moments later a toad flew into Art's hand. Giving it to the bushy haired girl, she looked at him in amazement.

"Wow! Is that the summoning spell? I have read about it but it is high level magic." the her said, her eyes sparkling.

The girl continued to talk and ask questions which Art answered patiently and sent her on her way.

"She's a lively one…" George muttered.

"She is smart and curious. I'm guessing Ravenclaw." Cedric said.

"Wonder where you brother will end up." Art smiled at the twins.

"No idea." Fred said.

"He is kind of average at everything." George said.

"I hear Harry Potter is coming to Hogwarts this year." Cedric said, eating some chocolate. "Wonder what he is like."

"A normal 11 year old." Art said smiling, "Excited to learn about magic like we all were."

"But I mean… he was the one who vanquished the Dark Lord. There has to be something special about him." Cedric said, his brows pulled together.

"No one knows what happened that night. Except maybe Dumbledore. I think what he wants most right now is to be treated normal." Art said, popping a chocolate frog in his mouth.

The other three nodded their heads, knowing Art met Harry already. Soon they arrived at Hogwarts. Art saw the familiar Threstrals pulling the carriages and loaded one with the twins and Cedric. They saw the huge castle in the distance while the first years loaded the boats and went across the lake. Seeing the lake, Art remembered the Merpeople and hoped to talk to them and see their underwater city this year.

In the Great Hall, Art saw the teachers and Dumbledore at the head table. Flitwick waved enthusiastically at Artland, which he returned. Dumbledore gave him a slight nod and smile while Snape gave him a brief glance before looking away, his face cold and indifferent.

Soon McGonagall brought in the first years and brought out a stool and the sorting hat.

"Abbott, Hannah" McGonagall announced, calling the first year.

'Abbott. Pureblood family and once allies to my family.' Art knew most of the allies his family had or used to have before they were killed.

She was sent to Hufflepuff and the process continued. Art noticed lots of pureblood families descendants were in this group of first years, even some distant cousins of Arts.

Susan Bones was sorted into Hufflepuff and gave Art a sad look. He waved at her and clapped loudly for her.

Finally it was Harry's turn and the hall erupted into whispers. Art could see the how nervous Harry was as he put on the hat. After a long while, the hat finally placed him in Gryffindor which caused a huge round of applause from the Gryffindor table.

Soon the sorting was over, with Ron Weasley, the youngest Weasley boy, joining Gryffindor. The table was suddenly filled with food and Art dug in. Art saw Percy telling the first years facts and information. Art saw the Prefect badge on his chest was polished and shining, obviously proud of it.

Art rolled his eyes, not saying anything. Percy was a good guy, a little high strung and followed the rules to a tee. Art prefered the twins compared to him.

Soon the dinner was over and they headed back towards the common room, Percy was guiding the first years. Soon they were all back into their room.

"So Art are we planning on using the Room of Requirement this year?" Fred asked.

"Of course. We have lots to learn."

"Man I wish we could go outside and fly." George said, looking out of the window.

"We will sometime this week. I want to stretch my legs to." Art said, also wanting to run around the grounds.
