Chapter 89 (Chess)(S3)

Ishan after playing, started walking towards the hotel with Ruhi, who was still talking with Sara and laughing.

The phone got 10 missed calls by Ivan by Noah's phone but Ruhi ignored it!

Ishan holding the chess board set, finally came to the hotel.

Suddenly Noah jumped on Ishan whereas Ruhi passed without knowing what is happening in the surroundings.

"Hey! Why did you took Ruhi?!" Said angry Noah sitting on Ishan.

"What do you mean by it?! I was going to go to the garden alone but she stopped me and said that I can only go if she goes with him and plays chess in the garden!" Shouted Ishan.

Ivan and Elisa also arrived.

"So why didn't you picked up our calls?!" Shouted Noah once again.

"Can't you see her?! She is talking with Sara from more than a hour continuosly! And she only ignored all the calls!" Replied Ishan.

Noah understood and looked at Ruhi and she was talking, smiling and laughing with Sara and left Ishan.

Ishan stood and said, "I just called her to say all the best for her next match. Who knew that she is a old rival of Sara in chess and will recognise each other instantly?"

"Old rival?" Asked surprised Noah.

"Here you go, she wants to talk with you a little bit." Said Ruhi and gave back the phone to Ishan to talk with Sara.

Noah and Ruhi started talking and Ruhi explaining about the rivalry and all that stuff.

"Yes, want to say something?"

"Um... Aren't you sad on hearing that bad words by your own companions? Just ignore it and move on."

"Yes yes. It's about the day before yesterday so I don't mind. Although it hurt a little bit but now I am fine."

"Nice to hear. But stop thinking about yourself bad! Others will say anything but you don't dare to think negative about yourself! Eiro told me about that."

"Yes yes. I will not. Anyways, all the best for your next match and I will be in the final match as your audience so give your best and make me proud!" Said Ishan.

"Yes, I will!" Sara's confidence and courage came back.

"Well then, see you next time. I have to go for planning and all that stuff." Said Sara and Ishan smiled and the call ended.

"Ok then! Time to work hard on winning!" Sara was now again courageous and confident on her match and her mood was now totally refreshed back again.

Ishan gave the phone to Ivan and said, "Now do you have any plans like where to go?"

"How will I? We all woke just 30 minutes ago and started finding you both. Although I was confident that you neither can be kidnapped nor run away with someone like kidnapping someone else. And Elisa was also on my side but... Noah was over worried about her. Anyways, you do whatever you want, we'll be coming after getting ready." Said Ivan and started moving back to his room.

"Oh my my. How much lovely you look like with Sara." Said Elisa with teasing and she also left to get ready.

After getting ready and having meals, Ishan with Ivan, Noah, Ruhi, Elisa and all their trip companions started exploring the city of a new country.

Ruhi was watching everything but showing no interest in any. But suddenly, she saw something very much interesting for her.

Ruhi saw two chess boards in public where people were having matches against unknown people randomly and some were watching it!

Ruhi caught Noah and so, everyone has to follow them.

And Ruhi started watching a public match!

"Checkmate"

Ruhi turned back towards the second chess board and a girl was sitting and in front of her opponent, he just said, "You are just a cheater." And left on losing.

"Uh..." The girl tried to say something to her opponent but he had already left.

Ruhi felt sad for the girl because in her view, she didn't won by cheating. So she came in front of the girl and sat on the chair and said, "Would you--" suddenly Ruhi saw a paper on the table on her side.

Ruhi took the paper and as expected, it was a paper to record the game! She was totally impressed by the game she played and said, "Will you like to play with me?"

The girl didn't replied but started arranging the board and Ruhi arranged of her side and they both had a handshake and started the game.

"I am Ruhi, and you?"

"Mahi, nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too."

And the game continued. Ishan, Ivan, Elisa and Noah started watching their game and this time, Ishan was seeing the game seriously.

After lots of moves, Ruhi had an handshake with Mahi saying to accept the draw and the match ended with a draw.

"You played well. What's your rating?" Asked Ruhi.

"2000"

And Ruhi was stunned.

"Age?"

"16"

And Ruhi was frozen that a kid have this level of ratings that made her hard to win that the match has to end with draw!

"Now can I?" Asked Ishan and shocked Ruhi get away of the chair and Ishan sat and Mahi started arranging of her side and Ishan of his side.

"Would you like three rounds match?" Asked Ishan on playing on the first one.

"Ok"

And the first match ended with Ishan's lose in just starting 13 moves.

"You play so well, but why are you looking so sad?" Asked Ishan with reading Mahi's match record.

"Ah... I am a disabled person who limps while walking and so can't play outside games so I chose to play chess. But people never expect that I will ever win but when I win, they say me a cheater and leaves the pieces and board miserable. It actually makes me sad." Said Mahi and smiled with hiding her actual pain.

And Ivan, Noah, Elisa, especially Ruhi were shocked and felt pity on Mahi.

"I don't know why people feel pity for me? Because I can't do what normal people can? But to be honest, why don't they see that on which level I am on the work which I love to do. Anyways, thanks for asking. I guess I will be able to sleep well today." Said Mahi and laughed.

And now they got reverse, they were feeling pity for her which she hates the most!

"Anyways, let's start the second match." Said Mahi and the match once again started.
