Chapter 9

Ella's POV: I opened my eyes wide in amazement, I was shocked to my bones…..I kept staring at him. I was unable to mutter a word.

He smiled and walked out of the room…..

I also ate my meal and left the house..I waited for him at the car garage.

He dropped me at school fifteen minutes later, I felt relieved because the drive was very awkward. Lol.

I entered the class room and sat down gently, trying as hard as possible to avoid those two brats: Gloria and Tricia. I can't just stand those girls.🤮

I brought out my books and began to read. I also continued writing the novel I started some days ago. I planned to finish it before the month ends… and in order to do that, I have to write and work harder.

I was scribbling away in my book when the most handsome boy in class stood in front of my table.

I rose my head gently and greeted him..

Ella: hi, good morning… how may I help u?

Mark: good morning pretty🙂…. How're u?

Ella: I'm very well, thank u.

Mark: sorry for disturbing, can we hang out during lunch time?, I want us to be friends pls.. if u don't mind🥺

Ella: alright no problem… we're cool.

Mark: thanks 🙏

Ella's POV: I was surprised to see d most handsome guy in class ask me to join him for lunch.

Well, I didn't take it serious, he probably just wants to be friends with me.

I shrugged and continued what I was doing till the teacher came to the class to lecture us

During lunch time, I went into the cafeteria to get my food, I sat down on an empty seat and began to eat…. Few minutes later, I saw mark walking up to me with a wide grin on his face.

Mark: I thought u would wait for me before u started eating, I guess I was wrong.

Ella: I'm sorry, guess I was too famished to wait

Mark: it's alright, I'm glad to be here.

Ella's POV: he kept looking at me with the corners of his eyes as we were eating which made me feel very uncomfortable, I wasn't used to the atmosphere… he kept on asking dumb questions like he's up to something…. I was just praying in my heart for him to finish his meal on time and get the hell off my table. I tried maintaining my smile so that he wouldn't notice I was not comfortable with him being around.

Thirty minutes later:

Mark: thanks for having me, see you at lunch time tomorrow

I had fun talking to u. Bye!

Ella: yeah, Bye😒

I let out a deep sigh, glad that's over…. I walked back to my class, but on the way I bumped into Tricia and Gloria…. I pretended not to see dem and kept walking.

But Gloria pulled me back, making me fall heavily on my butt, I yelled out in pain with tears in my eyes… I stood up and landed a heavy slap on her face. I pulled her by the hair and raked her to the ground…. She started screaming and shouting and raising alarm 🚨

Everyone gathered round and the principal was informed about the fight,

We were taken to the principal's office for our respective punishments.

Principal: Ella! When did u start fighting in the school, I expected more from u….. why couldn't come to report to me instead of taking the laws into ur own hands?

Ella: I'm sorry sir, but those girls have been bullying,accusing and harassing me at every given opportunity, I just couldn't take any more of it.

Principal: Gloria, you've always been known for always causing trouble… u and Tricia

What's ur problem….. just because ur father is rich and influential doesn't mean u can be behaving the way u like... I'm goin to give the both of u punishment and report to ur respective parent and guardian

Ella's POV: we were asked to wash the ladies toilet for a week as punishment, I was annoyed but there was nothing I could do about it.

I didn't regret anything and I was glad I finally taught one of them a big lesson….

Gloria: oh, u think you've won right?

If u know the plans I have for u, u won't be smiling like a fool
