The female troop discussed heatedly with anger in their eyes. They couldn't wait to kill their enemies.
Bai Yaoyao's face turned pale. They had been acting so quietly, so why had they been discovered?
"I bet they've already noticed us when we killed those patrolling soldiers."
"What bad timing. I think that something is amiss."
"Quick, think of a solution!"
Bai Yaoyao raised her hand and stopped everyone from creating a ruckus. "I think something must have happened to the lady."
After hearing those words, the troop turned solemn. They could easily treat the southern troop as their enemies and kill them. However, they would blame themselves if a citizen died because of them.
Bai Yaoyao instructed sternly, "Lie down. I'll get a better view on the trees."
Wasting no time, she swiftly climbed onto a tall tree. Looking afar using her binoculars, she saw about a hundred soldiers from the south, and she turned tense.
