Meanwhile, Sara spread out the servants and hunters to search for Roger. She came to check up on Roger and noticed he wasn't there, so she waited. But when the night came, and Roger never returned, she felt extremely uneasy.

"Spread out, and search the forest."

The hunter was curious, as he never saw Sara distressed. Usually, Sara is cold-hearted to everyone. It seemed weird that she was so nervous about a missing enslaved person.

She walked closer to the hunter and slapped him. She was already lousy about Roger's disappearance, but now a lowly hunter questioned her actions.

"I am sorry, miss."

Hunter realised this was the wrong time to question her and kneeled in apology. He thought there was a reason for it. When Sara relaxed, she answered him.

"Roger is enslaved, yes. However, he has noble blood. He is their second son despite working as an enslaved person for Noya's family; he their second son."

Not to mention the fact that Sara developed feelings for Roger. But she hid her feelings and felt like it was a must to answer the hunter's question so that she could clear any misunderstanding.

Sara was confused. The spell could not find Roger's whereabouts, but it could still tell that Roger was still alive. So, in her opinion, this could only happen if someone kidnapped Roger and cast a counterspell against the search spell.

"Search everywhere. I want Roger here before the sun rises."

Angry and confused, she continued with different types of search spells. However, the answer was always the same. It showed Roger's vital signs, however, not his whereabouts.

"Ahhh! What the fuck is going on?!"

She got angry and started kicking the wooden fence. The uncertainty about Roger's safety made her feel unease. Her heart was beating fast, and her hands were shaking. Cold sweat was running down her face.

"Roger, where are you?!"

Meanwhile, Roger was trying to make a fire. After a while, he finally created a spark with the system's instructions and lit some leaves. He was hungry and killed a gigantic snake about 3 meters in length. The snake helped him level up once.

Roger cut off the slice of the snake and slowly roasted it. The smell seemed awful, so he pinched his nose.

Sara called for him in the middle of the night and forced him to join the search party to look for Roger. He knew he and Sara had some weird relationship, which was furious. He wished that Roger either disappeared or died in the forest. However, all he could do in front of all these hunters was scold him.

"What do you mean by what's going on?! Where the fuck were you?"

Roger scratched his chin and lied about the whole situation. He explained how he entered the forest for a hunt and got lost, so he wandered around the entire night, looking for the exit. To the hunters, this seemed like a possible situation. However, Damian was looking for an excuse to lash out at Roger and continued to claim that Roger's actions were suspicious.

"You're lying! You wanted to run away, didn't you?!"

However, Roger just looked at Damian with an empty and expressionless face and asked him.

"Even if I wanted to escape, I wouldn't tell you that. Don't you think so?"

Seeing how Roger no longer has any fear for him hurt Damian's ego. Damian kept getting more and more irritated to the point he punched Roger. However, Roger's defence was so high compared to Damian's strength that Damian hurt his own hand instead.

The system annoyed Damian, while Roger looked at him with pity. He was feeling embarrassed just by looking at Damian's stupidity and could not express with words how sorry he felt for Damian's parents.
