To Watch Her Friend Suffer
Vier thought that the Web Gauntlet and the Mana Steel Strings would be enough to restrain the Rank 6 Black Weretiger Monster. But it turns out that they're only able to restrain the monster because it got weakened from the damage that Felin and Vier dealt to it.
The Black Weretiger Monster slowly recovers its strength while being restrained and suspended mid-air by Mifumi.
The Dwarf Cat-eared Elf couldn't do anything to stop its recovery. No one can attack the Black Weretiger Monster while it's unable to move. The Neo Heroes are not there and Felin is unconscious. Vier can't gather enough strength to walk much less to stand on her own. And even if she could, she doesn't have any more Magic Items that could damage the monster.
The only one who is left standing is Mifumi. But she's giving everything she has just so she can restrain the Black Weretiger Monster using the Web Gauntlet and Mana Steel Strings.

And just as Vier feared, the Black Weretiger Monster finally recovered its full strength. The monster struggled and resisted, breaking the Mana Steel Strings one by one.
"Mifumi-sama!..."
Vier wants to tell Mifumi to carry Felin and leave. She wants both of them to run away and escape. Even if it means leaving her alone to face the Black Weretiger Monster again. She knows it would be useless, that after her the monster will follow both of her friends. But at least she will be able to give her friends enough time to run away, even if it's only a few seconds. And in those few seconds, someone might come and save them, someone strong enough might appear and defeat the Black Weretiger Monster.
"I won't let you take anyone important to me!!!... Release... Web Weaver Monster Core... Web Creation!... Uwarghhh!!!..."
However, what Mifumi wants is different. She doesn't want to run away and escape, she doesn't want to leave her friend again, and she doesn't want to waste everyone's efforts so they can restrain the Rank 6 Black Weretiger Monster.
So Vier didn't stop Mifumi. She respects Mifumi's decision because her friend will do the same if Vier is the one in Mifumi's position. She trusts her friend because Vier knows that Mifumi will trust her as well.
Vier watches everything that happens as Mifumi stands between her friends and the Black Weretiger Monster.
Before the Black Weretiger Monster broke free from the Mana Steel Strings, Mifumi released the Monster Core of the Rank 3 Web Weaver Monster from the Storage skill of her Storage Bracelet and held it with her left hand.
Mifumi then used the Web Creation skill of the Web Weaver Monster Core to create more web traps. Those web traps spread from the Web Weaver Monster Core to the Black Weretiger that is still suspended mid-air. It successfully stops the monster's resistance and restrains it again together with the remaining Mana Steel Strings.
But it won't last for long. Just like what happened to Karna, Mifumi will have to endure the intense pain from directly using the Monster Core of the Web Weaver Monster without any Magic Item.
...RARWWWWW!!!!!...
"...Uwarghhh!!!..."
The Black Weretiger Monster will occasionally try to break free from the Mana Steel Strings and the web traps using brute force but every time the monster does that, Mifumi will tighten the loops of the Mana Steel Strings using the Web Control skill of the Trap Weaver Monster Core and create more web traps using the Web Creation skill of the Web Weaver Monster Core.
Mifumi is holding the rope of Mana Steel Strings in her right hand that was wearing the Web Gauntlet and holding the Web Weaver Monster Core in her left hand. Her body is covered with bleeding wounds caused by too much strain from directly using a Monster Core. The blood dripping from all of her bleeding wounds did not only stain her clothes but also the ground around her.
After enduring the pain for as long as she could, to the point that she lost her voice from too much screaming and pain, Mifumi let go of her grip on the Mana Steel Strings and dropped the Web Weaver Monster Core.
Then Mifumi fell unconscious on the ground.
"...Sob... Sob... Mifumi-sama... Sob..."
Vier can only cry as she watches her friend suffer in front of her, unable to do anything to ease Mifumi's pain. After Mifumi fell unconscious on the ground, Vier left Felin's side and crawled on the ground towards Mifumi.
"Puro-III... Mana-Potion... Heal-Potion... Hurry up!"
Mifumi is still alive. Even with all of that suffering, she survives. But if nothing was done, then she would lose her life.
That's why Vier poured both Mana Potion and Heal Potion into Mifumi's wounds hoping that it would be enough to keep Mifumi alive.
Yet even if those Magic Potions save Mifumi's life, the threat of the Black Weretiger Monster is still around.
Now that Mifumi is already unconscious, the Black Weretiger Monster will soon break free from its restraints.
...RARWWWWW!!!!!...
...BAMM!!!...
The Black Weretiger Monster was finally able to get itself out of the Mana Steel Strings and the web traps then fell standing in the ground. The monster didn't attack right away. It roars at Vier like it's telling her to hurry up and stand on her feet.
...RARWWW!...
"... Sob... sob... You think you already won, right?!"
...RARWWW!...
"I'm still here so you still haven't won this fight!"
Vier keeps on retorting back to the Black Weretiger's roars. But this time, it wasn't to stay positive and gain confidence. This time, Vier is serious about what she said.
As the Black Weretiger Monster gives her time to get back on her feet, Vier gathers the last of her strength to stand up once again, not to run away but to face the monster standing in front of her.
"Puro-III... Give those to me..."
What Vier is asking from her pet slime are two items stored at its Storage skill. Those two items are Vier's contingency plan in the case that the Dwarf Cat-eared Elf was unfortunately put in a very dangerous situation that endangered their lives.
Like the situation their group is currently in. Yet Vier didn't use this plan right away for two reasons.
First, she thought that the Web Gauntlet and Mana Steel Strings would be enough to restrain the Black Weretiger Monster.
Second, this contingency plan will also endanger Mifumi and Felin's lives and, at worst, cost Vier's life.
With no other choice left to protect and save her friends, Vier is willing to bet everything right at this moment.
But even before Puro-III could release those two items from its Storage skill or the Black Weretiger Monster could take a step to charge towards her, Vier heard a voice behind her.
A voice that shouts to return the favor she has once given.
"Water Burst!... Ignite!..."
