Uninvited Visitors

As I entered the hospital entrance, I could see a familiar car parked on the hospital parking lot. I know for sure who's that car belongs to.

"Why the hell is she here?" I muttered.

I parked my car, got off, and locked the door before I make my way to the hospital. I headed towards the elevator and pressed 5. While in the elevator, I got lost in my thoughts about what I'm going to say to that wh*re for showing up uninvited.

A loud "Ding" sound brought me back to my sense. I have reached level 5 of the hospital building, where my mom's ward is located.

I make my way to my mom's room with anger and a little bit of curiosity. I wonder how Daisy found out about my mom's condition since I knew, Aunt Jenn wouldn't have told her.

Aunt Jenn was sitting outside of the room. As I make my way towards the door, she quickly stands up and blocks my way.

"Aunt Jenn, please do me a favor and move aside," I muttered. I could feel the flames inside of me getting bigger. I clenched my fist.

"Please calm down, your mother just woke up. Don't do anything stupid," she said.

I glance at her. "What is she doing coming here uninvited? Did you told her?" I replied, getting emotional. Tears were forming in my eyes.

"I didn't, I promise. They suddenly appeared a moment ago," she said.

"They?" I asked.

"Yes, Daisy and...Lucas," she said with a little bit of hesitation. "You need to calm down Rylee, please. For your mother," she added.

I was so furious knowing that the two people I despised came together to see my mom. After what they did, they still dare to show their face to me.

I pushed Aunt Jenn aside and swing open the room's door. They were already looking at me. I guess they heard our conversation.

"What the hell are you guys doing here? Get lost. My mom doesn't need your comfort," I said raising my voice. Aunt Jenn quickly entered the room and closed the door.

"Rylee, we..," before Daisy could even finish her words, I cut her off.

"Shut up. I don't want to hear anything from you," I said angrily and turn my head towards Lucas, "especially from you. So please, get out before I make a scene and don't bother to come here again" I added.

Aunt Jenn quickly pulled both Daisy and Lucas out of the room.

Still caught up with emotions, I forgot about my mom. "Sweetie, come here," a faint voice appeared behind me.

I turned around and looked at my mom's pale face. I walked slowly to her. It pains me to see her helpless like this. "I'm here mom," I said softly, holding her hand.

I spend the whole night with my mom. Aunt Jenn went back home since she has been taking care of my mom since I left that afternoon.
