Maybe Another Drink?

I woke up with a splitting headache. I'm surprised how I still managed to get home safely after getting drunk last night.

There were a few missed calls from Aunt Jenny but I decided to ignore them for now. My head is about to explode.

I got up from my bed and head towards the kitchen. I rummaged through my cabinets to find something to alleviate my hangover. I found a couple of instant noodles. I don't even know what food can cure hangover so might as well try those noodles.

I took out a pot from the lower cabinet and fill it with water. I turned on the stove and let the water in the pot boil.

*I reckon you guys know how to cook instant noodle so I don't have to explain it*

After the noodle has cooked. I pour it into a bowl. I took a sip at the noodle broth and IT WAS AMAZING. I never thought that instant noodles can be this good. Or maybe it was because I'm still a little bit drunk.

After finishing my meal I went to take a shower and get ready to go out to buy more instant noodles. It might come in handy after a night out of drinking.

I drove my car to the nearest convenience store and bought a dozen of noodles. Yes I know, it's a lot but who cares anyway.

Time went by fast. By the time I look at my watch, it was already 1 pm ao I decided to check on mom. I dialed Aunt Jenny's number.

Ringggg....Ringggg

It rang a few times before Aunt Jenny picked up.

"Hello, Rylee,"

"Hey, Aunt Jenny. How's mom. Has she eaten?" I asked.

"She's sleeping right now. The doctor just gave a some medicines and yes, we already ate," I can imagine her rolled her eyes saying that because I didn't ask about her. "Are you okay? You were ignoring my calls since yesterday," she added.

"I'm okay. I'm just a little busy, that's all," *sigh* I lied again.

"Take care of yourself, don't get too exhausted. Text me or call me if you are going to the hospital okay?" She said.

"Will do," I responded and ended the call.

I let out a sigh. I kinda missed Daisy. I wish I could hang out with her right now but I don't think it's the best idea. I kinda hate her too.

I shooed the thought of Daisy from my head and went back to my apartment.

When I arrived, I placed all the instant noodles I bought inside my cabinets. I reached for my cellphone and dialed Mr. Mendoza's number. It rang a few times but nobody picked up. It was answered by his voicemail. I tried calling again but it still the same so I called his office.

His assistant picked up and before I could ask her about her boss, she said that Mr. Mendoza is not in the office right now and ended the phone call. How rude! FLYNN MENDOZA IS OBVIOUSLY AVOIDING ME.

I clutch my fist and scream. I hate him for doing this to me. He didn't even ask me why I have to postponed continuing my book. He just cut me off like that. That jerk!

I was so frustrated so I decided to go out for a drink again.

It's still early so I prepare my outfit first. I decided to wear a sequence bodycon cami dress. After I picked my dress, I went to the kitchen to cook some pancakes.

I wanna eat pancakes for dinner. Don't judge me.

While eating, I watch a few episodes of season 7 'How I Met Your Mother' to pass the time. After finishing my pancakes and the series, it was already 7 pm. So I closed my laptop and took a shower and get myself ready for tonight.

When I felt that I was ready, I left my apartment and went to the bar I went to last night.

I ordered the same drinks with chips as a side dish.

A few hours had passed and someone suddenly bumped into me.

"HEY, WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!" I yelled.

The stranger apologize and hand me something. It was a note. I crumpled it in my hand and throw it away.

The place was getting crowded so I left and went to another club. I partied all night long.
