A Little Bit Too Much

As we entered the bar, it was filled with people. It was so crowded that we had to squeeze ourselves just to get through.

As we were trying to make our way to the counter, I bumped into a woman. It was a bit dark there so I didn't get to see her face. I quickly apologize to her. "I'm sorry for bumping into you," Because the place was packed and loud, I have to kind of raised my voice a little bit.

"It's okay. I see that you finally made it here," The woman responded.

Her voice was kind of familiar but I'm not so sure. Before I could respond to her, someone grabbed my wrist and I was pulled to the side where fewer people is flocking. And just like that, the woman was out of my sight. I let out a sigh.

"You probably can let go of my wrist now," I demanded.

Ash looked at me and let go. "Hey, you should thank me. I save you from drowning in that waves of people,"

"You didn't save me, instead you just interrupted my conversation with someone," I muttered.

"Wow, not even 5 minutes into the bar and you already find someone to talk to. Impressive!" He mocked. "So, how about that drink you promised to buy," he added.

With no other choice, I have to fulfill that promise. "Fine," I muttered.

So, we headed to the bar, inside 'The Special Bar', and I told him to order whatever he wants so he'd stop bragging about how he had saved my life from blah blah blah. And you know what? He just ordered a beer. Yes, a BEER.

"Seriously?" I said as I look at him in the eyes.

And he was like, "What?"

"Out of all the drinks here, you're just gonna order a beer?" I rolled my eyes before giving him the 'whatever' looked on my face and ask the bartender how much was it.

The bartender smiled and waves his hand. "You don't need to pay Miss, it's on the house since it's your first time here,"

I was kind of shocked. "Seriously? Wow, this can't get any better," I muttered and smiled back at him. "In that case, can I get a Vodka Martini?" I asked. The bartender nodded and started to mix my drink.

So, a vodka martini is a shot of chilled vodka mixed with a little dry vermouth and it's delicious.

It's crazy how I ended up drinking with a stranger I just met at a diner. I don't mind because Ash is hot.

I had a few more shots and I can already feel my body is intoxicated. My visions started to get blurry and my head's starting to spin. I almost fell from my seat.

"Woah, there missy. Are you okay? I think that's enough shots for you," Ash muttered as he catches me from falling.

I was fighting to keep my eyes open and focus on his face but I'm so dizzy, I felt like vomiting so I get up from my chair and ran to who knows where to find a damn restroom.

Luckily I found it just in time. I pushed the door open and head toward one of the cubicles. I puked pretty much everything. It was a mess as far as I could remember.

After I'm done, I flush the toilet and went to wash my mouth. I gargled some water and then spit it. I smelled awful.

I am pretty much still dizzy so I decided that I want to go home. I went back to Ash to inform him that I'm gonna go home. The place is still crowded so I have to pass several people before reaching back to him.

I could already see him waving his hand at me. A sharp pain suddenly appeared at the back of my head and before I know it, I blackout.
