Backstage

As Sarah entered the school she found Johnny and her crush Claira waiting for her. Claria began to push her way through the people towards Sarah who started pushing towards Claira. Claira went to embrace Sarah in a hug but when she did Sarah pushed her to the wall with an unexpected kiss. Claira melted away in the kiss wrapping her arms around Sarah. "Claira I want you to be mine." Sarah said with newfound confidence. Without her knowing everyone watched Sarah kiss and ask out Claira. When she said yes everyone cheered for the new couple. Both of the girls blushed as they walked to class holding each other's hand. "Look who became a dom while in the hospital." Johnny said in a smartass tone as he joined their walking pace.

"She is more of a dom than you, Johnny." Claira said sticking out her tongue. He gave an exaggerated shocked face before sticking his tongue out back at her. Soon they got to class and parted ways with Johnny and raised their held hands walking into the classroom. She couldn't think straight as her mind ran in overdrive from her kissing her crush and getting her as her girlfriend now. Sarah and Claira have been going to school with each other since they had been kids. Sarah has been head over heels in love with Claira every single one of those years. "You have such a love for that girl don't you?" Demon Sarah sat on the floor next to Sarah's desk. She nodded like she was agreeing with herself. "I do, I love her so much." Sarah spoke with a big smile on her face.

In the back of her mind, she is still thinking of the play, and to be honest to herself she never quit. Before she knew it the teacher was handing out homework and the bell rang to end class. Claira stopped by Sarah's desk with a big smile on her face. "I have been waiting for your silly ass to ask me out since middle school." Claira said while taking Sarah's hand. Claira escorted her to the drama room and gave her a kiss before leaving to go home. Claira stopped and turned around at the door. "I will be back to see my little star in action at the play tonight." Claira giggled as she spoke the last word and left. "What play are we being in tonight?" Demon Sarah's voice hissed. "It is a play called The Five Gates." She said a little happy to finally see it in action. "Honey that isn't a play, not for you and me at least." The demon's voice was still unlike normal. "What do you me Demon me?" Sarah asked very curiously.

"For me and you when we witness it to its completion it will unlock our full power." The demon's voice still did not hiss. The demon's face has looked the most serious Sarah has ever seen since they met. Sarah can't tell if it is excited or scared. "Does this play frighten you?" Sarah asked one last question before class starts. "No, but the play hasn't surfaced since your father gained his powers." The demons hiss finally returned and her face relaxed. They both entered the room as the drama director stepped up on his step ladder to get everyone's attention. "Everyone, instead of normal class we will set up for the play tonight!" The drama teacher yelled across the room.

Everyone cheered for the show that was to come. Sarah cheered but she did because she knew the true reason it was here. Even though she could only hear it, she could hear Demon Sarah cheering. Soon they had all of the stuff for the play put in place and the time drew closer. She could feel the energy rising in the air. Black figures began to show up around the building watching the kids put the play together. They watched Sarah closely, closer than the others. "All hail the burning queen!" They started to chant as the last piece was placed for the show. The cast and stage crew left to go get dinner before the show starts. As they sat and ate laughter filled the air. Sara didn't laugh but she was focused because she knew the step she was about to take but she didn't know how it will affect the ones around her at the time.
