chapter 5 Thank you
she looked around her house like an investigator who is trying to find an object that will give her a clue to her mystery...
her face look pale and her lips becomes colourless like someone that is very sick.she is now back in her lonely world,tears gathered her eyes but she tried her best to hold them. she didn't want to tear up in front of this guy again,not even when he said he had been watching her the whole time.
Is this your house,Alex asked as he look around the house.the house is quite big and a little bit old,there are fences around the building that look like the house was in a cage.it seems that there was a little garden by the left side of the house,the flowers in there looks beautiful and elegant.
The flowers are looking so beautiful but Alex could tell that it has not been taking care of for a while.at the right side of the house there was a wide space that looks like a parking space that can only contain two cars.he saw a big cage that also look like it was made for dog,but it was empty cause there was no dog inside.
He looked around the compound trying to observer it features,it sound silent that Alex was sure that there is no one in the house...
Are you the only one living here,he asked again.
Leah turn to look at Alex,It seems that she was done with her taught.
No I live with my parent,she replied without showing any expression on her face.she was looking so horrible like someone that just wake up from the grave.
Alex want to ask her what wrong but he suddenly changed the question thinking that her face might even change to something even worst than these.
Where are they cause this house look so empty,he asked has he move forward.the tears that Leah has been trying her best to hold slowly run down her cheeks.
he was right the house look so empty... like it has been abandoned a long time ago.her parent was the one that always take of the house especially her mom.her mother often wandering around the little garden to see if the flowers are in good conditions....
Though Leah doesn't like flower that much but she had never disobeyed her mom whenever she instructed her to go and watered the flowers.
Her mother would said flowers are like... the more you treat them,the more they become attractive.they are so beautiful that I can't take my hands off them,just as I can't take my eyes off them.the more the beautiful flowers,the better!!!
But looking at those flowers now it looks like there soul is leaving the body slowly.
Are you alright Alex asked has he placed his hand on her shoulder. Leah didn't answer,he was about to speak again when Leah finally answered his questions.
Am fine,I was just lost in taught as she used the back of her hand to wipe off the tears...
I think it is time for you to leave,she said
Are you alright by yourself now,Alex asked has he take his hand off her shoulder and put it inside his pocket.
Yes am alright now,Thank you very much for today.I don't know what might have happened to me if you didn't come to my rescue,she said as she look at him.
Alex knew that those men was not targeting her but him....
He smile as he heard those word but it quickly vanished.he said in his mind... I'm not an emotional person,but it's so hard to keep cool when a lady thanks you!!!!!

Miss Cortez I don't think it better for you to stay up in these cold weather and your cloth is wet you will catch cold anytime soon.please go inside and take a rest,The man said as he turn to make is way towards the gate.
