Months later, my pregnancy got due and I delivered my bouncing baby. In my absence, Jasmine has already prepared a huge party ahead of tomorrow evening, for the revealing of the baby's gender.
She called her other friends over to her home, while they waited for me to get discharged the next day.
Jasmine kept coming over to the hospital to check up on I and the baby. She never informed me about the good news. She was hiding the party away from me. She knows how much I love surprises and she was trying to use that to get at me.
★★The Next Day★★
I was discharged later in the afternoon of the next day. Jasmine ordered a cab, that took I and my baby home. She was glad that both of us were doing fine. I had no idea of the huge surprise awaiting me tonight.
Getting to the house, Jasmine helped me out with the new born baby stuffs, while I retired to my bedroom. She took the baby to the baby cot after rocking the baby to sleep. After my baby had slept off, Jasmine joined me in my room.
"I'm happy that you and your child are faring good." She said to me.
"Thank you bestie. I couldn't have had a successful bump without you by my side." I replied her.
"There's nothing I can't do for you okay??." She assured me.
I nodded my head beaming a warm smile at her. She could see the weakness lying in my eyes and decided to leave to rest, atleast for tonight's surprise.
On the other hand, was Sebastian that had a sudden feeling about something good happening somewhere. He hurriedly decided to have the conversation with his mum, since he hardly hides anything from her. They were at the balcony, having that particular discussion.
"Sebastian, what's your worry now?." Mrs Kurtz asked.
"I'm having a sudden feeling about a part of me being somewhere." Sebastian opened up.
"You're very funny son." His mum replied with a laughter.
Sebastian didn't like the fact, that his mum was actually thinking he was making up stories. He left the balcony and decided to consult his bestfriend, whenever they meet up again. His insticts has never lied to him, and it wouldn't play a smart one on him now. He kept pacing round the house, being lost in his own thoughts.
Dusk was falling on us heavily this day, and I didn't know if it was due to the preparation jasmine had made tonight. She queried me to get a warm bath alongside with my baby she bathed by herself. Jasmine was getting me so worked up, by her over doings. She had already prepared a red ball gown for me to wear tonight at the gender reveal party. I and my child wore a matching dress and it seemed everyone was anxious to know the baby's gender tonight.
★★The Party★★
Jasmine tricked me to the field behind her house and I was welcomed with some ribbons falling from above. I was amazed by how I was welcomed, and my mouth was wide opened in agape. I sighted Jasmine, giving her a big warm hug. I couldn't stop hugging her, because I wasn't expecting the party tonight. The crowd was too much and I was very delighted by the happiness.
Jasmine dragged me to the stage, and held ontop a microphone. I stood next to her feeling very shy and speechless.
"First of all, congratulations to my bestfriend Biance Mower." Jasmine congratulated me.
"Tonight, we will be finding out the gender of the new born baby." Jasmine added.
Jasmine handed over a white ballon to me, having an inscription "boy or girl" on its body. Everyone couldn't wait to see what's hiding inside of that balloon. Jasmine winked at me, trying to reduce my escalated happiness because I was obviously still in shock. I took a deep breath, facing the crowd with a big smile.
"At the count of three, the balloon would be deflated. So okay...One...Two...and..dd..Three!!." She counted aloud.
At the count of three, I bursted the balloon as it released pink powdered content that poured on me. Everyone screamed with happiness, hurriedly coming to me for a hug. They all handed over some gifts to me, while I opened my arms for a whole. Jasmine really made my day tonight and it was really a huge party. She gifted me new set of baby clothes and some motherhood gifts.
"It's a baby GIRL!!!!....". Jasmine screamed out aloud.
Jasmine ordered some chefs tonight and everyone ate to their fill. I couldn't stay there long because I needed to be next to my child. The party was indeed a blast and everyone went home very happy. I couldn't stop appreciating Jasmine for tonight and that was her way of assuring me, that she had my back and that of my baby's.
I and Jasmine retired back into the house soon after the party was over. I gave her another hug still in my feelings.
"Jasmine, thank you so much for tonight's party. It meant everything to me." I thanked her.
"You are highly welcomed bestfriend." She replied.
★★London★★
Mother was in father's arms at the balcony having some deep conversations. She was still mad at me after these six months since our home was being auctioned by the Kurtz. That was indeed a very deep pain, she was never going to forget. She wasn't going to heal so easily from it. She just couldn't stop talking about it to anyone, she came across with.
"Bianca has forgotten us. When did our daughter become so heartless?". Mother asked in tears.
"She has found happiness wherever she's now." Father replied.
"Happy without her family huh? Are you being real?." She asked madly.
Mother and father got into an argument again because of me and it attracted Aunt Susan and Abrams into the balcony. They stopped the burning fire. Liam left the balcony with mother, while Aunt Susan decided to talk about mother with Father. He couldn't stop expressing how annoyed he was with her. He believed she was just being too much again.
"Please take it easy on my little sister." She pleaded.
"She's still trying to heal from everything. She probably misses her child too." Aunt added.
"Why would she vent it all out on me huh?" Father asked.
Few minutes after the quarrel between my parents, Father forcefully went out of his way to apologize to mum. He knew that she was suffering already and didn't want to fuel it. He couldn't watch mother suffer all these alone and he promised himself to stand by her during these hard times. Mother was sobbing at a corner of their bedroom when father entered.
He drew a chair closer to her, lending his shoulder to mum to lean on and cry it out. She leaned on it wailing. Father blamed himself for causing her cry, knowing that she was already going through so much in her life right now. Mother had lost some weights these few months because of overthinking. She can't even have a proper meal these days because of lack of concentration.
