The entrance of the Six invigilators ignited the atmosphere with their entrance.
Especially the griffin, which stood obediently beside them with his golden eyes looking at the students, causing their bodies to get tensed in fear due to the overwhelming energy surrounding it, with a small number of them looking at its eyes directly while others used their willpower to resist the fear.
Only Jay, Santaka, Nilam and Chandraka who all have the highest cultivation within the group, were more curious than afraid due to their first time seeing a Griffin.
Chandraka in particular, was astonished by Griffin. After all, it was a living, breathing creature, not some things of legend and myth from his original universe.
Other invigilators didn't say anything about Griffin's aggressive behavior. It's a common practice among the best trainers to test the students. If a student cannot even bear the energy released by a beast, how can they train it? Not to mention that it was only a baby Griffin in its growth stage.
It also helps other invigilators to eliminate students who are lacking in mental strength and willpower from applying to second and third universities, which demand high mental strength and willpower for spirit cultivation and weapon mastery.
"Darsin, I think you have now stopped it from releasing its energy. I think you must have already gotten an idea of which guys you want to select." said the woman in the blue robe.
Darsin nodded and patted Griffin's beak to calm it down.
Slowly, the presence surrounding the students disappeared, and they returned to normal conditions, with some still looking at it with fear.
"Namaskar, Student. I am Darsin from Fourth University. I am sorry for the inconveniences that you guys have to face, but it's a routine practice done by our university to select students. I would like to say that I have a list of students which I have with me currently. Whose name am I going to call out after other invigilators also introduce themselves and set their conditions of entrance to their respective universities. They can all enter our university if you like. Besides that, students who were able to make eye contact with Griffin are also allowed. The rest are disqualified." saying that he walked back, and the girl in her teens who came with Darsin holding a bow walked to the front with her.
It was not a surprise for some to look in their teens, even if their original age was way beyond that due to their high cultivation.
Chandraka looked at the others, who didn't seem like people who like to compromise, but stood silently and allowed her to come forth, proving that Darsin and his girl have higher cultivation or terrifying battle strength.
"Namaskar, I am Sakshi from Third University, which specializes in the weapon master profession. Like Darsin, I also have a list of students who are selected by our university and later announce their names. Aside from them, students who were able to resist their fear in their hearts before are more than welcome to apply. Durvasha, you can now take over."
The woman in a blue robe nodded with her face hidden under the hood and came forward.
Her declaration was quite similar to the other two, but she directly rejected opportunities for any other students aside from those on her list.
On the other hand, the category for the other two was quite low due to lesser requirements for mental strength and willpower.
They were quite direct and approached
Chandraka, Santaka and Nilam while Jay was acting like he didn't hear anything.
The two invigilators were feeling quite awkward about getting such a response, but they couldn't do anything about it.
All people know that aura masters are all muscle headed people. On the other hand, Healers and poison masters are suitable for supporting roles in the early stages; only on reaching higher cultivation do they have any strength to resist in direct conflict.
The last one was Varun from Sixth University, who was a wind elemental master. Many students were interested in the profession but hesitated. Even among the students who are trained by the university at the ranked warrior stage with special techniques, only forty percent are able to step into the realm of elemental master; others have to change their profession to aura master or live their entire lives remaining as ranked warriors, waiting for fruitful counters to awaken their elemental power like elemental seeds.
With the declaration of the last invigilator coming, they progress to announce the names of the students from their selection list.
Chandraka found out that he was almost on the list of all the universities aside from the Fourth and Sixth universities. Yet, much to his surprise, Jay, Santaka, and Nilam's names were only present in the selection lists of the first and Fifth universities.
Still, he was becoming impatient and couldn't understand why the invigilator of the Seventh university hadn't arrived yet.
Have they already given up hope of requiring any students this time?
According to the information his grandfather had provided him. His friend is currently working as a mentor there and will guide him further in his part of cultivation and how to control the power within his body.
With each passing minute, most students have already made their decision and stood in line beside their respective universities invigilators.
Leaving only a few others who are still indecisive about which specific university they are going to join because their university of choice has rejected them, including Santaka and Jay, who were rejected by Sixth University and Second University, while Nilam stood beside him from the beginning without moving or talking with him.
It looks like she was also waiting for the invigilator at Seventh University.
After some time, only they were left as all invigilators observed them.
"Chandraka, are you really not going to join any of our universities? You do know that means you will not be able to join us in the future aside from Seventh University, and that goes the same for you guys." said the Invigilator from First University, whose name was Agnam.
Chandraka shook his head. "It was already decided by me that I would join the Seventh university from the beginning. So, thank you for your consideration, mentor Agnam."
Hearing that, he nodded and didn't persuade him further. He looked at Jay and Santaka for the last time and left with students behind him, followed by other Invigilators.
With only Rajiv standing, he sided with them.
"Rajiv sir, Will the Invigilator of the seventh university not come?" asked Nilam with worry.
She, being the princess of Matsya Kingdom, has inherited her unique bloodline talent from her father, and the unique cultivation method for that is only present in the archives of Seventh University.
"Princess, you don't have to worry so much after all; she had already been here for a long-time observing you guys. I am right, Shirina."
In response, all of a sudden, a black fog appeared before their eyes, revealing the figure of a beautiful girl in her teens with long black hair reaching down her shoulder, her deep violet eyes looking at them, and her pink glossy lips curling up into a smile wear a tight V-necked navy-blue military uniform with matching miniskirt and long boots with her long black military coat in one of her hands with a sword around her waist and walk towards them.
Seeing a familiar face with an unfamiliar girl before him, the whole body of Chandraka was electrified, and his childhood memories floated before his eyes while Jay and Santaka were enchanted by her beauty.
"Commander Rajiv, you are as sharp as ever. When did you detect my presence." asked Shirina with a playful tone.
"From the very beginning. You were the first one among the invigilators to arrive."
Listening to him, she can only smile bitterly.
Commander Rajiv's cultivation was already way beyond her so it was not much of a surprise that he could detect her presence.
As her eyes fell on Chandraka and his group, who were still staring at her like they were scanning her body with their eyes, she withdrew them in fear the next moment with a ray of mysterious light flashing in her eyes.
"I am an Invigilator of Seventh University, and I would like to welcome all of you to our university. So, shall we move now, or are you guys planning to stand here all day?"
