Me:"What the hell is a clan ring?"

Marie:"It is symbol of identity and/or proof of affiliation with the clan the one in your hands can be taken to a clan to identified or if you are indeed a family member of the clan your blood should be enough to activate the symbols"

Me:"What will it do when it is activated?"

Marie:"I don't know different clans have different ideologies maybe call for help, make a shield or even explode but the last one is unlikely although not impossible"

Me:"Do you know which clan it likely came from?"

Marie:"No clue clans tend to keep to themselves most wouldn't even recognize a clan ring even if they saw it I only knew because I found it in a text while looking for a talisman to help Rodney seem more pleasant so he wouldn't make so many enemies"

Me:"So how is your micro dick husband doing these days?"

Marie:"You don't know he has a micro penis"

Me:"Am I wrong?"

Marie:"I don't know"

Me:"How do you not know?"

Marie:"Well you met him; he is kinda a pain in the ass so I could never be attracted to him but he comes from money so I married him but I then I found out I had to wait until his father drops dead before I could be rich so before you enslaved me I was seeing people on the side while using illusions make him think we have sex"

Me:"So not even once?"

Marie:"Absolutely not I had a boyfriend and two mistresses for that kind of fun"

It took everything in me not fall from my chair as I was laughing after finding out that Rodney's own wife wouldn't even fuck him as she found him repellent to the point where she decided to look for outside help and even better was the fact that even I got to nail his wife before him and all he got was a wet dream.

After catching my breath I refocused my mind on the clan ring I set up a barrier in case of explosions then I took a needle and pierced the tip of my finger and smeared it on the ring the ring lit up then sent a pulse of energy before I had a chance to even understand what was happening the energy vanished which I suspected to be a call to the clan as to who they were and where they are I had no idea so for now I decided to just wear it for now and keep my watch on me at all times until I get an answer.

Me:"Well that accomplished a whole lot of nothing for now Marie what is Ai up to right now"

Marie:"She is in the workshop she made trying to translate the alchemy books you forgot to translate for her"

When I arrived Ai was passed out on her work station drooling and from what I could see she wasn't even able to translate even one page instead it seemed she gave up translating the text and instead was was trying to decipher the nature of the alchemy formulas using what she knew based upon the alchemy of this world which caused her to hit a wall as the primary principals seemed backwards or made no sense at all according to her notes

Me:"It seems that the Alchemy formulas were too difficult for you Ai although some of the formulas you were looking at you mislabeled like this one you marked it down as a golem creation formula but it is actually used in the creation of resurrection potions"

Ai was startled awake nearly falling out of her seat before she wiped the drool from her face and trying to adjust her clothes and hair to look presentable.

Ai:"Sebastián your finally here.... wait.... did you say resurrection potions?"

Me:"Yes"

Ai:"As in returning life to the dead"

Me:"Yeah, no big deal"

Ai:"And you don't think that is a "big deal"? Of course you don't! I forgot who I was talking to! You do realize that such life saving potions are considered miracles how is it impressive"

Me:"Because it isn't the potion only work if the person is completely dead for dead for at least ten minutes and doesn't work after twenty minutes leaving only a ten minute window but if done correctly it will not only bring you back to life it will fix all ailments as well but it is a real pain in the ass to make and some failed potions look like successful ones which unless you either test it in the moment or use a phoenix's heart if it stays gold its good"

Ai:"HOW DO YOU GET A PHOENIX'S HEART THEY BURST INTO FLAME WHEN THEY DIE!?!"

Me:"One stop screaming two just don't kill them and you can steal their hearts simple right?"

Ai:"That seems even more impossible how do you steal a phoenix's heart?"

Me:"Capture the bird alive than take it's heart using one of two methods the first is to win the phoenix's love and have it bestow it's heart to you or my way"
