Penny stared at the watch and frowned. Kate noticed and sighed.
"It's so late. I do not think Lucy will return tonight." She wrapped her arms around penny. "How about I give her a call and ask first?" She wanted to ask Penny to stop waiting and sleep. But she hesitated when she noticed her sad look.
She dialed Lucy's number but someone cut the call instantly. Frowning, she dialed again only to get the same result. The call was only answered a fifth time.
"Lucy.."
"Lucy is busy! Do you not know? If someone cut your call that meant they could not talk to you at that moment." Before Kate could ask something, she heard a moan.
The room was silent and Kate had placed the phone to speak. So even Penny heard Jamie's voice and then softly moaned. Her eyes reddened. Here she was.. Waiting for Lucy to come and study together while she was having fun with her lover!
