Everbody's hungover

LUCY'S POV

The rest of the party had gone fine but somehow we had managed to get ourselfes into a conflict with the surrounding kingdoms representatives and it was somehow settled with an arm wrestling and drinking competition. Though Yukino doesn't look like much, she managed to almost out drank them all. I think she could almost put Canna to shame with the amount she drank though currently I'm trying to get a hangover Yukino out of bed.

"Urgh, noooo!!! Luccyy...Don't take m...myy blankies!" Rolling my eyes I looked over at Wendy, she had just walked out of the bathroom, she looked really happy, most likely because we're going to the air temples today.

"Wendy could you please heal Yukino's hangover." She smiled and nodded. Walking over she chastised the older, white haired girl,

"Yukino you shouldn't drink so much alcohol, it's bad for you." Yukino could only lightly grunt in thanks as Wendy healed her. After a few minutes Yukino got up and said,

"Alright, I'm all good." Nodding to her I say,

"Go and take a shower, I have to finish waking everyone up." making my way over to Sting and Rogue I saw the two of them sleeping peacefully. Rouge was curled up holding a pillow while Sting was half on the bed, his body stretched all across the bed and one hand resting on his stomach and the other one above his head. They both looked hilarious. Grinning evilly I grabbed the watter bottle off of one of their bed stands and dumped it on Sting. While he was drunk he said that I was a pile of hay in the form of a human body. I know the insult wasn't that bad but he had then proceeded to beat me in arm wrestling by using that stupid light seal and cheating. I was still only a little angry abou that.

Come to think of it I was the only one, besides Hai, who hadn't gotten hammered the night befor. I'd had a mug of beer but that wouldn't get me drunk. Pouring the water all over him I watched as he started awake and tried to roll away form the water. Only to roll right of the floor. He let out a loud yelp. Unfortunately Rouge was roused by this noise and saw me pouring water over Sting so he immediately leapt out of bed but only to fall on his ass from his hangover. I wish I could have poured water on him too. Wendy immediately came over and said,

"Lucy there's no need to be so mean to them." Rolling my eyes I motioned to the two hammered ruin mages in the corner, their names were Andy and Beck. Once they'd started drinking they were so talkative you couldn't shut them up. Apparently they were identical twins though Andy was slightly older, but only by four minutes. They specialised in protection Ruins, kind of like Freed but a lot weaker and with a lot less variety. Wendy nodded and said,

"Don't worry I'll get them too." With the easy people out of the way I faced my biggest problem, and a problem that seemed to be common with dragon slayers. A huge ball of blankets slowly rose and fell as Laxus slept, on my bed! I had to move to Hai's bed last night becuseuce the drunken idiot jsut fell asleep atop mine and I couldnt move his massive frame. Walking forward I crossed my arms and suddenly I remembered all the days I'd woken up to Natsu sleeping in my bed just like Laxus. I felt a stab of pain in my chest but quickly squelched it. Natsu was my past now and I didnt need him anymore. I reached up and touched my tattoo, of Ceyl, on my shoulder. I could feel the magic of his soul under my fingers. Taking comfort in it I compleatly crushed any last thoughts of Natsu as I gazed at the oaf. I couldnt help but saigh as I looked downa at Laxus. Reaching over and gently shaking his shoulder,

"Wake up." he cracked and eye and said,

"Humm, it's morning already?" I nodded and he slowly got up and looked around and then his face froze as he looked at whose bed he'd gotten into. Turning his head ever so slowly he looked at me. My arms were crossed and I had a patient look on my face as I said,

"Thats my bed."

"Your bed."

"Yup." His face turned bright red and he said,

"Im sorry Lucy, I...Uh...I don't really have an excuse." I nodded and said,

"You were drunk and You were to big for me to move. I slept on Hai's bed. Hai looked at Laxus happly and said,

"I got to sleep with Mommy." He had this extremely happy and smug look on his face. I still found it a bit weird that Hai would call me Mum, mother, mom, mummy, or mom but rarely Lucy. Shrugging it off I said,

"Hai stop looking so smug, your always welcome to sleep with me. Laxus I'll forgive you the time but if it happens again I'll give you a good old kick." His face paild. My kicks, even before I had left, were legendary. I don't know why I could kick people so well but it would even send Era flying.

She had asked me to kick her once and she'd gone thru the wall of the guid building. Natsu and Gray had been on the receiving end of that kick enough to fear it. Laxus practice scrambled out of my bed and said,

"Cheerleader, do you want to kill me. Even Ezra can't take one of your kicks. " I smiled and said,

"Oh don't worry youll be fine, Wendy will heal any injuries." His face paled not just from being afraid but also because he'd just gotten nauseous from his handover. And he then emptied his insides all over my bed. I felt a tick on my eyebrow and immediately called

"Wendy heal him once your done." Pulling out a circular device from the spirit world I placed it on the bed and hit the button at the top. A moment latter the bed was clean. Placing it back in the spirit world I said,

"All done." Beeing a member of fairytail I had to dal with vomit more times then I would like ot atmit and by now the gross effect of seing a persons lunch had lon gworn off.

Searching threw the spirit world for a moment I summoned a clean pair of clothes for Hai. Basically black shorts, a puffy black vest and a bright blue shirt with a yellow smiley face on it. I also brought out clean boxers and socks and a comb for his hair. Turning back I saw a healing Laxus and without a word to him I handed the clothes to Hai

"Laxuses is goiging to help you get ready for the day?" He and sais

"Yes mama. Let's go Laxus." Hai smiled and energetically bounded from his bed and onto Laxus's shoulders, he almost dropping the clothes as he hung of the large man like a monkey,

"Lets go, lets go, lets go!" Laughing softly to myself I watch as Laxus grabs his clean clothes and headed towards the bathroom without a word of complaint abou thte juvinile human dragon child hangign from his arm. With everyone else sorted i enter the bathroom and step into a shower stall. Yukino was also showering. Stripping I quickly washed my body and hair. Once iv finished I call out,

"Open the gate of the giant crab, Cancer!" A moment my wonderful barber spirit appeared with his scissors and said,

"Hey baby." Rolling my eyes I said,

"Hey Cancer, could you help me dry my hair and put it back in a simple poneytail." He nodded and after a few moments he had finished. Smiling I said,

"Thanks Cancer! Could you also do Yukino's hair?" Snipping the scissors he said,

"No problem baby." Yukino was pulling out a hair dyed but cancer quickly did her hair nicely and then returned. Changed into a clean version of the coutfit I had on the day before. You could say it was like my uniform. Brushing my teeth and putting on a light shade of lipgloss I smiled and looked at Yukino. She was just pulling on her cape. Most people would think that it's weird that we wear the same outfit but if ws like an identity. People could recognise us form our clothes and appearances. If we wanted to go incognito it was easier if people only saw you in your uniform. Once we were done we headed back into the main room and saw everyone was ready. Well almost everyone. Looking at Laxus and Hai I sighed, It was like a repeat of yesterday. They both were kneeling before me with their hair standing straight up.

"So whos going to tell me what happened?" They both gulped and Sting fealessly spoke up,

"They wanted to see if they could to there hair with static electricity." Looking at the two I had a stern look on my face but it melted away and and I began to laugh. They looked ridiculous. They both looked at me and I produced a comb from the spirit world and motioned to Hai. He happily ran up to me and leaped into my arms. I had braced myself already and held him to my chest as I combed down his hair, Laxus got up and had a guilty look on his face. Smiling I said up to him,

"Its fine. As long as no one was hurt." He nodded and said,

"It won't happen again." Smiling I said,

"Here." Handing Laxus the comb I let him come threw it. Both of there hair was in there normal spiky looking look but now there hair wasn't static and sticking straight out. Laxus handed me back my comb.

Lector was trying to talk to Frosh the exceed was ignoring him. Everyone was ready and we headed towards the dining hall behind a guard. Hai raised his arms to Laxus and said,

"Can I ride on your shoulders." Laxus nodded and Hai lept at him again and clambered up the bigger man body to his shoulders. I let out a laugh and said,

"Hai don't climb up people. Sorry about that Laxus." Hai replied in a long drawn out voice,

"Fiiinnneee." Laxus smiled and said,

"It's really not a problem. I quite enjoy playing with Hai." I smiled in appreciation and asked,

"Isn't this kingdom absolutely lovely." Laxus nodded and said,

"It has got peaceful art it. It is lovely but I feel like a fish on land." I nodded and said,

"Yeah, Fiore is very different from here. It is a bit strange for me too. But I think that places like this should exist. A place with little fighting. A place where peace is valued. I think every child should grow up in a place like this." Laxus nodded na dsaid,

"But the cruel reality of this world is that most of us are born of loss and grief nd pain. I think that's what makes us stronger." I nodded in agreement and just then we rounded a corner. It was a big dining hall, like the ones you'd find at a private school or institute. Long tables with chairs and platters of food. None of it was very fancy but practical and everything looked sturdy. Walking in everyone turned and looked at us. I could see many a hangover faces from people who had challenged us to a drinking contest. Just then Sevro from the Desterto kingdom leaned back as we walked buy and said to me,

"Hey Lucy, and the rest of you Fiorians." I stopped and smile and said

"Hey Sevro. How are you?" Sevro grimace and said bitterly,

"I was lucky enough to bring a hangover cure with me or Id be suffering like the rest of these miserable bastards." Grinning I said,

"Ha! You guys deserve it, you took a drinking challenge against us Fiorians. When were not out on missions were drinking booze and fighting." Laxus grinned and said over my shoulder,

"Ah, there have been quite a few legendary brawls at our guild." Laughing I said to laxus,

"You weren't there when I joined the guild. The first time I saw the guild there was a huge brawl going on. Man someone hit mira in the head multiple times and she got pissed. I thought I was gonna die of fright. " Laxus nodded and said,

"I remember an especially good one when Elfmen stepped on the first cake Erza's had ever backed. You hadn't joined the guild yet so you don't know what she did. I think Elfman was stuck in bed after that for about a month. Man it was hilarious." We'd forgotten Servo as we reminisce about some of the best guild fights.

Sevro coffed and we were startled out of reminiscing. Smiling at Sevro I said,

"Sorry about that Sevro, let's catch up letter alright." Nodding to us we turned and took our seats and began to dig into breakfast. I didn't like to admit it but every dragon slayer had a massive appetite because we burned so many calories. Barely any food set before us vanished within minutes. I could feel everyone watching over us as we devoured the food in front of us. Next to us a man from a different kingdom that I didn't recognise said,

"Where is the food even going." I finished of a stack of pancakes I reached for a bowl of fruit only to see Laxus snagg it. Everyone was eating with perfect table manners but the food just kept disappearing form out plates. Looking a Laxus I said in a polite voice,

"Laxus could you please pass me the fruit bowl once you have finished putting someone your plate." He gave me a huge polite smile that felt sarcastic and he said,

"Of course." he then proceeded to leave three strawberry slices in the bottom and put the rest of it onto his plate. My eyebrow twitches but I graciously took the bowl and put the three strawberries on my plate and ate them slowly. I was so going to get him back for this. He began to reach for the plate of pancakes but I swiftly snatch edit form him. I watched as his eyebrows twitch and he said,

"Lucy could you please hand the pancakes are to me once you've gotten yours." I smile and said,

"Of course. Pulling the biggest and fluffiest pancakes onto my plate I left him with the sad and squashed little pancake at the bottom. Handing the plate to him he glared at me and took the pancake. They had just stopped serving food and I could see laxus as still hungry. Hed wiped his plate clean. I still had another four pancakes. Sighing I quietly slipped three onto his plate. Laxus noticed and looked at me with a smile but I ignored them. Across from me Yukino laughed and said,

"Lucy you know it's hard for people to believe that you two aren't married. You act like an married couple. My face went red and I stuttered,

"W-when do I act like that!?" She laughed and said,

"Your always talking to him, you just gave him food because he was still hungry, you let him sleep in your bed even though you could have easily kicked him out. You pretty much spend most of your

time with him and Hai. It's really hard for people not to think that the three of you aren't a thing." my face goes bright red and Isay,

"Y-Yukino, d-don't say things like that." She grinned and said,

"It's alright. I totally understand. Laxus also dose stuff too." Next to me Laxus's already red face when redder and sting spoke up,

"Yup, Yukino's right." Rouge was the next person to speak up,

"You hold the door open for her, you always walk so she's shielded from the wind, you always make sure that when your walking near a road you're always near the outside. You constantly tease her and you treat Her like your own kid. Your nice to Lucy and practically a stone wall to everyone else when your not fighting them." I felt my face go redder and think back to our recent interactions and realised Rouge was right. My face was bright red and I said,

"Guys it uh...Um...not what you think" Laxus nodes and says,

"Uh...We are just old friends." I nodded in agreement and he laughs and says,

"Mommy your face is bright red. Do you like him." My eyebrow twitched at how close Hai sounded to Happy when Happy use to do that "she likes him" voice with me. Sobering up at those memories I said softly to Hai.

"Hai did you learn that from Happy?" At this all the Fairy tail members laughed.
