Chapter 40 - Heart Over Mind

Han Seo Ah walked towards Jin Ae when she saw her arrive. They were in a garden with a long table prepared for lunch. The farm staff who assisted them all throughout the morning activities gathered on the other side of the table.

"Aigoo, my legs are aching already," Seo Ah complained the moment she reached Jin Ae's side.

"Why?" Jin Ae mused.

"We had to squeeze the grapes using our feet."

"That's better though. I have to squeeze tomatoes using my bare hands a while ago. I think that's harder."

"Not if you're partnered with an annoying guy! Hmph!"

And she looked in the opposite direction, her eyes throwing sharp daggers at the back of a tall man me who seemed to be enjoying his company.
