Horseriding

"Em. This is my parent's house. They were killed two years ago in an accident."

"I'm sorry to hear that," I whispered as I walked closer to her.

She put her hands up and stopped me.

"No need. I don't want your pity," she said as she walked back to the table and sat down.

"But I'm really sorry. I had no idea," I said as I shook my head.

"It's fine, now you just finish your breakfast and I'm sorry for acting like that to a guest. But to be honest, I don't like to talk about it and I've closed myself off since the accident. So I gave up my friends and I pretty much stay secluded in my apartment, except when I go to classes," She said.

I sat back down and grabbed a sandwich.

"A class?"

"Oh, I'm still studying at P University and I live in an apartment near to my uni. But I'm starting my study last year after that and it's been really hard for me to focus," She said.

My phone buzzed in my pocket.
