Aunt And Uncle

"You are not eating noodle with a spoon and fork."

"Then how the hell am I supposed to eat it?"

He was so damn sexy at that moment.

So I picked up my chopstick and took a slurp at the noodle strings. With a mouthful, I said.

"Like this, pick chopstick up and slurp into it." I presented to him.

"That's disgusting and don't talk with your mouth full." He scold at me.

"If you won't do it then I will." I picked up his chopstick from his bowl and held it up with noodle string to his mouth.

"Slurp it," I demanded.

He raised his eyebrows at me.

"Do you have any idea how sexy that sounds?" he winked.

Then I couldn't help but let out a light laugh as I hit him on his arm.

He rolled his eyes, which was sexy as hell, opened his mouth and took a slurp of the noodles. I smiled as I put the chopstick back on his bowl.

"My turn," he smiled.

"Your turn what?" I flustered.

He took the chopstick from my bowl and held it up.

"Slurp it," he demanded.

Then I took a slurp, and a wide grin graced his perfect face. So I think that may have been the first time since I've known him that I've seen him smile like that.

It was the most beautiful and warm smile I've ever seen, and it made my heart flutter.

We ate more, talked and ate some skewer too. The waitress kept walking by our table and giving Mu Kai flirtatious smiles.

"Don't you ever get sick and tired of all the ogling you get from women?"

He laughed.

"Don't you get sick of all the ogling you get from men?"

Then I twisted my face in confusion.

"I don't get that." I denied his replied.

"Yes you do, and I see it every time I'm with you. And the only difference is men are more discreet about it than women are." He stated rightly.

Huh? It is true?

Actually, I never noticed men ogling me before so I better have to start paying more attention.

As we were laughing and enjoying our conversation my phone rang and it was my Aunt number. I looked at Mu Kai.

"A minute, I have to get this." I said.

He nodded his head and took out his phone.

"Hello," I answered. The voice on the other end was my cousin Ling Xiu.

"Sis, it's me Ah Ling , I wanted to let you know that mom and dad were..." she started sobbing,.

"In a car accident, and they both were killed." She's crying.

Her sobs grew harder as a tear fell down my cheek.

Mu Kai looked at me and reached for my hand resting on the table.

"Ah Ling, I'm so sorry. I will be there as soon as I can."

"Thank you Sis, I'll call you with the details." She said sobly.

I hung up and looked at Mu Kai who was staring at me with a worried look in his eye.

"Wen Wen, what happened?"

"My aunt and uncle were killed in a car accident. I need to get out of here, got to go." I informed in rush.

I grabbed my purse and took out some money. Mu Kai grabbed it from my hands and shoved it back in my purse.

"I got this." He said.

I couldn't fall apart in front of him andI had to hold it together, at least till I got home, when I was alone.

He threw some money on the table and followed me out of the restaurant.
