Then I reached over her for the belt to buckle her in and could see she was shivering.

"You're cold, Fei Fei," I press up the heat and get away from the lobby, straightening out the wheels and parking it up against the curb. 

The windscreen wipers methodically passed back and forth between us.

"Hurm. My parent wants you to st…stay for dinner," Fei Fei chattered blankly, still staring forward out into the dark rainy night.

But what about you, baby? Do you want me to stay too? I question in my mind.

"Okay. I'm sorry for shouted at you just now," I said softly.

As I wished she'd look at me, but she didn't or couldn't too after our terrible shouting match happened. And so, I just sat there and watched her, the heater inside the car working smoothly, by making the air start warmer by the minute.

"It's okay," She said finally, wiping one side of her face with her fingers.
