Chapter 15: In love with a stranger

Tyler's POV

I can't believe that after all I did for Amelia, she had the guts to cheat on me. Not only did she cheat on me, but she felt no guilt even when I found her on top of another man; instead, she was inviting me to come and join them.

I'm grateful to the moon goddess for revealing this to me earlier, because I was even planning to mark her.

I could have sealed a bond with a prostitute who goes around looking for someone who will satisfy her sexual urges.

I can't even count how many times I found her watching porn, despite the fact that I had prohibited her from watching it.

Well, I will have to suffer the pains of rejection only for a little while, but I know that it won't last; soon it will pass away, and hopefully I will find another mate who will be faithful and worthy of being the Luna of the Moonstone Pack.

Meanwhile, I think it's time to forget about all these worries and enjoy my ride in the human world.

It's the only place I come to cool my head whenever I'm stressed out due to all the related hassles of being an Alpha of a pack.

As I was still driving across a motel, I heard something falling on top of my car, and without hesitating, I stopped immediately to see what that fell on my car by this time of the night, and to my greatest surprise, it was a young lady, and not an ordinary one, but she was a werewolf.

"What will a young female werewolf like her be doing in the human world by this time?" I questioned myself while approaching her.

She was still fighting to get up on her feet after the terrible fall, but she kept falling back at every attempt; possibly she had broken an ankle due to the severe fall.

Without hesitating, I quickly rushed to where she was.

Once I approached her, I tried scanning her to see if she was from my pack, but she wasn't; possibly she came from another pack.

"Hey young lady, are you okay?" I asked her while helping her get back on her feet.

"Yes, I am," she replied with a failing tone.

From the perspective of things, she wasn't okay; she was feeling dizzy due to the fall.

As I was still trying to help her get on her feet, our eyes met, and immediately I felt cold shivers running through my spine.

"Wow!" I exclaimed without even realizing it. I would have loved to say that she was beautiful, but the word beautiful wasn't enough to describe her.

Her beauty was beyond explanation; her blue eyes were like those of an angel.

I was lost in my thoughts while staring at her until I didn't realize that people were already gathering around to see what was going on.

"Should I call an ambulance?" One of the onlookers asked me, and immediately I jerked back to reality.

"No, don't worry, I will drive her to the hospital," I said to the man before looking at the young lady, but unfortunately, she had already passed out.

Without hesitating, I immediately carried her and placed her on the passenger seat before entering the car and zooming off.

Throughout the whole ride, I couldn't feel at ease; I just couldn't explain the attraction I felt towards the young lady.

It's true that I don't know who she is or from which pack she came, but I just felt somehow connected to her. I have never felt that way before, not even towards Amelia, my ex-mate.

What surprised me again was that it took me only ten minutes to drive from the human world to the pack, while on normal occasions it takes me up to thirty minutes to drive from the human world to the pack.

Once I arrived at the pack, I immediately drove towards the pack hospital.

I was restless all through the whole time that the doctors were treating her, and I kept on praying that nothing bad happened to her.

As I was still strolling up and down while waiting for the doctor to come out, my younger sister's mind linked with mine.

"Hello Tyler, where are you?" My sister asked me with a worried tone.

"I'm at the hospital," I said to her across the link.

"What?" Did you have an accident?" She asked me with a worried tone.

"No, Isabelle, I ran into someone while coming back home," I said to her across the link.

"What?" She exclaimed with a surprised tone. "Is it a human or a werewolf?" She asked me because she's too aware that I usually drive to the human world whenever I'm free.

"It's a female werewolf, but she's not from our pack," I said to her.

"You mean a female rogue?" She asked me through the link.

"Actually, I can't really say if she's a rogue or not; I have to wait for her to regain consciousness."Meanwhile, the doctors are still treating her," I said to her.

"Ok Tyler, just be careful out there and please come back soon; I'm missing you already," she said to me across the link.

"Ok, sis, I will. Good night," I said to her before switching off the link.

After disusing with my little sister, I saw the doctor coming out of the ward, and without hesitating, I quickly ran towards him.

Once the doctor came out, I quickly approached him.

"How is she doing?" I asked the doctor with a worried tone.

"She's feeling fine," the doctor said to me.

"No broken bones or anything?" I asked the doctor inquisitively.

"Nothing of this, my Alpha; she is awake already; you can go and see her," the doctor said to me.

"Ok, thanks a lot, doctor," I said to the doctor before entering the ward.

When I entered the ward, I saw her sitting down on the bed. She kept on fixing with her charming blue eyes as I was making my way into the ward.

"Hello, how are you feeling now?" I asked her while sitting down on one of the chairs.

"I'm fine," she replied with her angelic voice. "Thank you for bringing me to the hospital," she said to me.

"Don't mention it, please; by the way, why did you jump down through the windows of the motel?" I asked her.

"I was being pursued by some bad men who wanted to kill me," she said to me, and immediately I furrowed my brows.

"And who are those men?" I asked her inquisitively.

"I don't know," she replied brusquely, and immediately I furrowed my brows at her once again because I could sense she was lying, but I decided not to go further.

"Let me pretend that I believe that," I said to her. "So what were you doing alone in the human world? I mean, which pack are you from? What about your parents?" I asked her.

Once I addressed the question to her, her countenance changed immediately.

From her facial expressions, I could easily tell that the question made her angry, but what I couldn't tell was the reason why.

After some minutes of silence, she proceeded.

"What's your name?" "Tyler," I replied.

"Ok Tyler I appreciate the fact that you helped me; you brought me to the hospital even if you didn't know who I was, and you also paid for the hospital bills. I'm very grateful for all of that, but that doesn't give you the right to know everything about me," she said to me with an icy glare.

"You don't need to worry about me; I can take care of myself. My destination is Moonstone Pack, and maybe before your arrival tomorrow I might already be gone," she said to me with an unfriendly tone.

With that, I smiled at her while shaking my head disapprovingly.

"What's funny about what I said?" She asked me while feigning to be angry.

"Where do you think you are?" I asked her.

"In the hospital," she replied.

"No, I mean, in which pack are you?" I asked her.

"I have no idea," she replied.

With that, I smiled mischievously at her before replying.

"Allow me to inform you that you are in the Moonstone pack," I said to her, and immediately she widened her eyes in surprise.

"Do you know who is standing right in front of you?" I asked her once again.

"You," she replied with an unsure tone.

"No, I mean, who am I in the Moonstone pack?" I said to her.

"How am I supposed to know that? We only met today," she said to me while throwing her hands in the air.

"Once again, allow me to inform you that I'm the Alpha of the Moonstone Pack," I said to her, and immediately her jaw dropped in awe.

"Don't give me that surprised look; you haven't even heard the main part of the story," I said to her while grinning wickedly.

"Now open your ears widely because what I'm about to say might blow your mind," I said to her while grinning wickedly.

"I don't accept strangers in my pack, so if you don't tell me from which pack you came from, who are your parents, and why some men were trying to kill you, then just have it in the back of your mind that I'm kicking you out of my pack first thing tomorrow morning," I said to her with an icy glare.

"So are you talking or not?" I asked her, but she remained silent.

"If I walk out through that door, you won't ever see my face again; instead, it's my guards that will come here tomorrow to make sure that you are out of the Moonstone pack," I said to her with an angry tone, but she remained silent while avoiding my gaze.

After some minutes, it was clear to me that she wasn't ready to speak, so without uttering a word, I stood up and started heading towards the exit door.

"Wait!" Her voice echoed from behind as I was about to open the door of the ward.

Seriously? From one problem to another.

I hope he doesn't chase her away from his pack.
